I did like going there until I had an unpleasant interaction with the owner. By mistake was given an appetizer that we did not order, told the waitress we did not order it as she was putting it on our table. Waitress said don’t worry about it and left it. We started eating it. Then an older gentleman came to the table, took the appetizer away saying wrong order. I figured it was the guy that actually ordered the appetizer. We then asked our server who was that guy and the server says that’s the owner. Server mentioned to the owner that we were asking about him so he came back to our table. We told him we started eating it and would have paid for it. He said he “threw it out”. It was the strangest experience I’ve had at a restaurant. Missed opportunity for the owner to show some customer appreciation.

Besides the annoying people sitting at the bar screaming at each other for 45 minutes the food was good and the service is hit or miss depending on the bartender working that night.

My friend and I both ordered cheeseburgers, medium and sweet potato fries. The cheeseburgers were burnt to charcoal on the bottom and the fries were so huge and so soggy they were uneditable. This is not our usual happy time at this restaurant not sure that we’ll be going back I didn’t Want to complain because her husband had died recently and we were taking her out to make her feel cared for and loved, but we were both very disappointed with our meal
I loved this place. The food was great(I had the Steak Fajitas). The atmosphere was fun and inviting, the staff was very friendly, and the food was prompt. The menu is big but not intimidating, something for everyone. Off street parking was also a plus.

Pub-like atmosphere. Lots of dark wood and a quirky layout (maybe it’s kind of a sobriety test?). The food is very good and the service friendly. We were here for an early dinner on a Sunday night and it was very quiet. The sound probably cranks up on a Friday or Saturday night. Anyone who misses “Edison’s” in Manhasset will feel right at home here!
