Great Brisket sandwich and coleslaw! Thanks for working the Barn to Bridge Fall Festival

My Husband recommended this place to me after we went apple picking yesterday with our 2 kids. We pulled up a little dirty from the farm thinking we were a little under dressed for such a nice place. But we decided to go and give it a try. It was so beautiful. We went inside the restaurant and we were immediately greeted with smiles. Our server Richard explained in detail the items on the menu, he was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. His recommendations on food items were top notch. Service was fast & food was absolutely amazing. So good that we ordered some things to take home and try. They made is feel welcome and the environment was perfect for a family meal after apple picking. We will definitely be back!! 10 out of 10 recommended

Mediocre service. Outdoor tables were filthy. The iced tea tasted like some kind of witchcraft beverage. The brisket and the pork were tasteless and a little dry; however, they were very tender.

Recommendation to the chef: do not rely on those bottled sauces. BBQ is about juicy meat with a complex and smoky flavor.

I hope you will be doing better in the near future.

All I can say is WOW! This place is something unique and the environment that Mike and Drew have created is nothing short of impressive. You’re welcomed into a warm and cozy relaxing environment, I have been here many times and it’s consistently a clean and pleasant experience. There’s good music playing, the bartender and server are always smiling and making you feel like close family and the FOOD! Melt in your mouth bbq along with the most scrumptious sauces I’ve had in ages. There’s no decent barbecue spot anywhere near the area and you can tell that the Lil’ Piece family strives to make sure every person that enters those doors feels the same. My favorite dishes to order are the chicken sliders, the burgers and the brisket. But we always start with the spicy and meaty jalapeño poppers with a large wings which are always crispy yet juicy. You have to experience it for yourself to really appreciate the overall environment. Go get a Lil' Piece!

Absolutely delicious!!! We went on a Friday night after the restaurant finished a tournament so they were very busy but the staff were so friendly and service was amazing. Food was so good and I love that they give you so many sauces.

We stumbled upon Lil Piece BBQ at the golf course and it’s safe to say we’ve found our new favorite BBQ spot just south of Albany. The first time, we had brisket, pulled pork, and their Sunday special – dollar wings. The sauces? Absolutely amazing. The wings? Smoked, fried, and dry-rubbed to perfection – hands down the best wings I’ve had in the area.

The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the pulled pork packed with flavor, and everything had that perfect balance of smoke without being overpowering. The fact that it’s tucked away at a golf course makes it feel like you’re in on a local secret.

We enjoyed it so much with the family the first time that we came back the very next week just for takeout, so we could create our own dishes at home with their smoked meats. Lil Piece BBQ might just be a short drive from Albany, best-kept BBQ secret – and we’re more than happy to keep coming back for more.

We’ve eaten at Lil' Piece BBQ the last two years as part of our Stay & Play package at Island Green, and the food has been excellent every time—breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The sandwiches, appetizers, and main dishes have never disappointed. Everything is flavorful, well-prepared, and served by a friendly team that clearly takes pride in what they do. Their sauces are unmatched—they take already great food to another level.

It’s become one of the things we look forward to most on the trip, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoys good BBQ.

Probably the BEST brisket I've ever eaten. And we have traveled all over the United States. Fries were good. We got the Pimento cheese app which was also amazing. All, and I mean ALL of the sauces were delicious. Highly recommend.

Probably the best smoked brisket and pork I've ever had and I've had a lot. Stopped here for dinner while on a trip and it was so good we stopped here when we were heading back home to take some home with us. It's so good!

Drew & his team are knocking it out of the park with the most delicious BBQ and sides you have ever tasted . The brisket is by perfect & my favorite ! We held a retirement lunch party at Lil Piece yesterday- for 21 people! Many of us order lunch to go throughout the year regularly from Lil Piece! Drew, Erin and the BBQ team did what they do best and served us hot delicious meals, quickly and effortlessly. We ordered brisket of course, burgers done to perfection, grilled chicken sandwiches , grilled cheese, pulled pork Reubens, crispy fries, homemade salads and more! Drew really cares about what he does and it shows. Thanks again Drew !

Great BBQ !! Great Service !! A delicious piece of home made strawberry lemon cake for dessert !! I will crave it often. We live 3 hours away and we will be back. Friendly wait staff !!
