The food was very mediocre, at best. The sausage gravy was meh, and the bottom of my biscuits were dark brown and hard. The home fries were covered with what looked like paprika, and room temperature. Staff seemed as if they didn't really want to be there. If you haven't been here before, you are not missing anything, skip this one.

If I had a choice I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. W had to ask for a menu. French fries were green tipped and the burger was tiny. Countertop was dirty and the waitress put our unwrapped straws on the dirty countertop. The empty display rack for baked goods in front of us was filthy and had what looked like a dead fly in it. Service was poor for other patrons as well.

Nice people and good food

Apparently not only is this restaurant unfriendly to people of color, but to people who look too...Ithacan? Steampunk-ish? Weirdo hippie? It gives off a good ol boys vibe. Don't go there unless you want to be stared at.

I have eaten here many times Kevin runs a nice family diner breakfast is always hot made to order and tasty. Kevin and Caspers do a lot for the town of Groton and we are lucky to have hom and his family here.

A very cute sit down diner with great family vibes. The food is hearty and fresh and at a very good price, I wish I lived closer because it would be a frequent stop for a late breakfast. Also they have coloring books and crayons which is always the best

Great food and friendly staff.

Nice little diner, but the food was lacking in flavor. The service is mediocre for the size of the diner. But, for a small family owned location I feel I could raise my rating considerably if they improve their food.

The perfect cozy spot for a solid, hearty breakfast. The bacon is some of the best I've ever had; cut super thick and sooo tasty. Eggs are always cooked to perfection and the breakfast potatoes are flavorful. All this at a reasonable price with friendly service makes for an old faithful to count on. So glad to have Casper's in town.
Changing my review bc 4-Stars were not fair for what transpired from other employees. I am a SUPER big fan of Mike and his family… Mike is a helper/worker at the diner but he also is a big help in his community and he has made my experience 5-Star worthy. GO MIKE!!!

Just stopped for coffee, it was Father's day and they were packed. Coffee was good.

An excellent breakfast at a reasonable price.

What is more perfect than good food, good people and a local atmosphere. I had two eggs over corned beef with hash browns and they were awesome. I ordered orange juice and it came in the largest diabeetus inducing glass I've ever seen!

Good solid diner food. Nothing special but certainly far from bad. The baked goods are excellent though. Love the pies.
