Upstate NY is known for its mom and pop ice cream stores. The Caboose in Groton is definitely a family favorite! Great selection of flavors, affordable and fun atmosphere. When school lets out and summer begins we head to the caboose. Been coming here for years with my kids! ❤️
Always good ice cream and the best prices in the area that I've found for kiddie size cones. Both places in Lansing are charging somewhere between $3 and $4! I do wish they'd change to flat bottom cones instead of the pointy tipped shape, as they always leak.
We were visiting our son and he insisted on treating us to ice cream. When we got to the Caboose, the line was long but moved quickly. Everyone was very friendly. I had Cappaccino Crunch hard ice cream. It was delicious!
