Federal Meats - Hamburg Village Square

I was shopping for a brisket on July 5th, and Federal Meats was one of the only butcher shops open. I needed a specific cut and weight, and they absolutely took care of me. They had several brisket options available and were happy to cut it to exactly what I needed. Great service and quality—I'll definitely be back!

Growing up in the Village of Hamburg, I’ve long grown accustomed to the exceptional service and products offered at the Village location. There was a new prepared food being offered, “Pilgrim’s Pie”, made up of layers of freshly cooked turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and corn, served with a dash of gravy and a side of cranberry. It tasted exactly like Grandma made it, and was absolutely fantastic. I hope they feature it all year round! Try it, or frankly don’t, as that will leave me for me! Well done!!!

I was interested in checking this place pit, but it smelled awful, so I turned around and left. It was a rotten food smell.

This is the Go To place when you want the finest of meats for your event! They know their stuff here and are friendly and helpful. They are worth it being the best around for meats!

This place is the best. I have gone there for 15+ years. They care about the meat they sell and they care about the customer. I am always greeted by my name when I go there.( by the veteran employees,new ones don't know me from the next guy). They do special orders and it is always exactly what I ordered and expected.

We get the Tenderloin for Christmas. Wegmans was almost double the price per pound. Best customer service!

Hamburg location is wonderful in terms of service and answering questions as is corporate. I came in solely to purchase 2 items I had a coupon for and to get an idea of what else they had to offer. Staff member who helped me was incredibly kind and when I asked him a question about the products he went and checked for me. Being a parent of a child with anaphylactic food allergies I have to be incredibly careful about what we purchase, the potential / possibilities of cross contamination in products, and what we cook in our home. Upon arriving home my own anxiety got the best of me that I had not personally read the labels of the items purchased - so I contacted their help email on the webpage asking if they could send me the labels. Within probably less than an hour they wrote back providing me a picture of the labels and following up. Absolutely amazing and kind customer service from start to finish. Definitely won our family over as a customer. We will be back. Thank you!

Federal Meats worked with us on a custom order of shish kekebabs and side salads for our September 25th Bills-themed tailgate wedding. Both Tom and Pat from Federal Meats were very helpful in helping me plan the menu, budgeting and planning the amounts of food needed. They packed up the large order and loaded my car with the food that we cooked on-site at our reception. It was delicious! I highly recommend the Chicken Terryaiki shish kebabs. They also did a custom order of steak and potato kebabs, YUM! As a little sweet joke, they threw in some rice for our ceremony, 'Just in case' ?We also appreciate the gift of a table for our tailgate.
