One of the best clean Beaches, only Hamburg residents may park in the lot or get towed by police patrol. The food is inexpensive and is right at the beach unlike how Wendt beach used to be back when they had the snack shack open. This beach is a regular visit for us multiple times weekly
Kid-friendliness: Kids love to come to the beach naturally, so why not have a snack stand with food kids like!
Parking: Parking lot is available to everyone with a Hamburg residential permit, it is regularly patrolled by Hamburg Police. But there are streets that you can park on if you don't mind walking 1/4 mile.

great customer service!! I called and requested a tandem kayak and they opened an hour early to accommodate my plans. When I got there I was greeted by two friendly and bright eyed bushy tailed young men who helped us all the way til we left the launch and were right there waiting when we got back to assist us.Beautiful views and it was a perfect time ..my only regret is only going for one hour instead of two but I'll definitely be back!! They also have a great selection of bike rentals for the whole family if kayaking isn't your thing

Awesome family experience! I spoke with the owner Nancy via email before making our reservation and she was so helpful and responded so quickly. We ended up renting two sit on top tandem kayaks for one hour at Wilkeson Point, bringing our 2.5 year old and 6 year olds as passengers. We had an amazing time! The kids loved the experience. Anyone looking for a fun, active outing with small kids should look no further than Longboards!
