Every aspect of our visit was perfect. Was able to get a reservation about a month out. The appetizers were great. We had the bang bang shrimp and calamari, a wedge salad and French onion soup. Much was shared and thoroughly enjoyed. The menu has plenty of options for dietary preferences. I do not know about dietary needs. Our server, Charlene, was extremely attentive to our table of 8. She listened to orders and recorded special requests, like sauce on the side, medium rare and well done. Her recommendations were spot on. Most of our party ordered seafood items, which were all amazing. Teens ordered the burgers and loved them. Desserts were key lime pie and cheese cake. There is a chocolate sampler platter on the menu. It was wonderful. I would definitely return for a special occasion. Our reservation was 4pm and by the time we left the restaurant and bar were very busy. The space is lovely inside. Lake view during dinner was lovely, despite the rain. Try to reserve a lake view table, if possible.

5 stars! Last time I was here was December 2021. Made a reservation for a Thursday evening at the end of March. Probably made it 2 months in advance, so be sure to get your reservations in early! Everything was wonderful. We were sat quickly, our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. For appetizers, we got a half dozen oysters and the arancini. Both were delicious. I wanted the lobster ravioli for my entree however it came in a red pepper cream sauce. I don't love red pepper and red sauces, so I asked the waitress if they could do any type of white cream sauce and she said she would talk to the chef. It came out PERFECT and was delicious. My boyfriend got the halibut with potatoes and broccoli and ate every bite. We ended the evening with espresso martinis. We were there just over 2 hours. Didn't feel rushed. Everything felt timed well. Our reservation was for 7, and it was so nice to see the sunset over the water during our appetizers as well! Really nice place especially to celebrate a special occasion. I'd definitely be back in the future.

I would give it 0 stars if I could after my experience last night. To arrive 2 mins late and be treated so rude and disrespectfully is beyond me. I was basically told I would have had 15 strict minutes to order apps and food because the kitchen closes at 9p. Mind you, my reservation was for 9p, and there was one for 915p that I could've chosen so how is that even possible... I told the guy "Jay" who I recently learned is the owner; that I'd eaten here plenty of times late and never had this kind of issue with the kitchen or the service for that matter. I also told him the hostess has a nasty attitude, she was wearing way too tight tacky pleather pants, but rolled her eyes at us as if we weren't "good enough" to even eat there. He came over and completely disregarded my concerns and proceeded to give us the same exact look the hostess did like we were "LESS THAN' He even stated to me " I've never seen you before" and that we expect our customers to arrive on time. SO I GUESS THE GRACE PERIOD & SIMPLY HUMAN DECENCY IS SELECTIVE TO ONLY CERTAIN PATRONS! GLAD I SEE HOW YOU REALLY FEEL ABOUT MY PEOPLE COMING OUT THERE. WE'RE NOT WANTED AND I'M UPSET I EVER SPENT A DIME THERE! NEVER AGAIN! Thank you for making my son's birthday experience so memorably racist..!!!!

Really love this place for food, service and ambiance. Their bang bang shrimp appetizer is very good. My wife had a filet and loved it. I had the pork chop, since others raved about it. I hate to admit that I was disappointed. It was seasoned beautifully and had a delicious taste, but was a bit too dry, and therefore, a bit tough. It was also extremely lean; I like that layer of fat on the edge of pork chop. This seemed a bit too closely trimmed.Parking: For a Wednesday evening, the parking lot (and restaurant) were surprisingly full, but there were a few open spots.

It's clear to see why Lucia's on The Lake has received not only local but national recognition as one the best restaurants in Buffalo! I have been fortunate to dine here on several occasions, and it never disappoints! Lucia's does a great job blending fine dining in a casual atmosphere. The staff members are very pleasant, not pretentious. The food is top quality! They have lots of wonderful options to choose from ranging from high-quality seafood to premium cuts of meat and everything in between! I also enjoyed their creative cocktails, especially their signature lemon drop! I highly recommend making a reservation well in advance. They book to capacity on most nights....this restaurant is worth the wait!

We went to Lucia’s for my birthday. We have always loved it there. To our surprise we were very disappointed. There was four of us. We all got the same thing that we always get when we go there, the lobster linguine. When the waiter brought our food out we all looked at each other and we were very surprised about the small portion of food we all received. As mentioned we have been there before and the plates are usually heaping with linguine. Not this time it was as if they took two meals and split it between four people. We mentioned it to our waiter about the small portion and he just patted my son on the back and says boy you must be a hungry boy. We always have leftovers when we leave there not this day everybody ate their full meal. We also had appetizers. I decided to call the owner who I spoke to, Jay. Throughout the whole conversation he denied my complaint. In the end he promised a gift to come in the mail that was four months ago. The owner Jay lacks integrity. They have definitely cut back on portions (at least they did our day there).

If you can get a reservation, run don't walk to Lucia's! The food is awesome & the service is great! I'm not big on desserts, but the servers don't rush you to leave so I'm always tempted to try one. WOW!! The desserts always end up being delish!?
So usually it’s really enjoyable here and I have recommended the place many times. However the last two times have been a really bad time. The drinks were watered down and asked them to be remade but still tasted the same. The Wagyu Beef was fatty and when the server asked about it nothing was done. It’s a lot of money for something to be really far off. Won’t be coming back again.

Booked the reservations for two in the beginning of January for a 615pm dinner...you always hear how you just have to try Lucia's on the Lake it's worth the wait...we went for our dinner and started with the bang bang shrimp, it was ok...had amaretto sours to drink BEST EVER...entrees were filet mignon which was ok the cut was perfect but there was no salt nor pepper flavor at all it was just steak...my husband adventured out and had the certified Japanese wagyu ribeye he ordered it med well some pink...when it came it was close to raw he said the flavor was amazing he just couldn't do very much with all the pink...also had a crab cake with supper it was to salty...wait staff very friendly and extremely knowledgeable

The total experience at Lucia's is always outstanding. The special of Cajun halibut, colossal shrimp, risotto, and broccolini was excellent. The filet was cooked to perfection. The beet salad and arugula/apple/pecan/ goat cheese salad were delicious. The waitstaff is always excellent. We frequent Lucia's on a regular basis and are never disappointed with any aspect of the evening.
Our server Kait was amazing and possibly the best server I have ever had and If they gave Michelin Stars to servers she would be the highest rated ever. Her knowledge and obvious love of the food and menu was so evident and refreshing. Her friendliness and personality just take your dining experience to the next level. We have added her to our profile and can't wait to have her take care of us next time
