Been there three times this summer. First two were great. Young kids working but at a quick and effective pace.
Third visit was a different story. Owners were working. One couldn’t operate the credit card system and said none of my cards were working and I couldn’t pay credit. I used both earlier in the day. I had $10 cash so they let me pay that amount so I give them credit for that. Food was fine, but half way thru my drink I noticed a handful of fruit flies in it.

Normally have no issues with this place and maybe the two females working were short staffed, but they were visibly agitated, rolling their eyes, tossing the icecream around, forgot half our $30 order, etc. It was a complete bleep-show. Glad my kids got to witness that. There are dozens of icecream places around and NEVER have had such a rude experience. It ruined a family moment for us.

Service was awful. All three kids were sitting on their phones while I waited for my food. My hot dog wasn’t fully cooked. The girl with the long red hair was very rude (tone, dismissive, looked like I was inconveniencing her) and didn’t even get up when I asked for help. Won’t be returning. Very unfortunate.

Went on Friday the 12th and there was only one person working and she was very angry for being alone and made sure she let us know. Told us the company refuses tips on credit cards because they don't want to do paperwork. If that's the case we can go elsewhere. Not an issue of can't find good help because the day before was perfect so clearly a management issue.

Great summer joy! Yummy choices from plain cones to dipped to sundaes and shakes and smoothies. Plenty of flavors - hard and soft ice cream. Loads of seating in the park and around the ice cream stand. A legacy in Hamburg.
