The fish tacos were awful the chicken wings were not done we sent back twice and the manager treated the guy next to us talking very loud on his speaker phone like a king will not be going back

Great place for a date night, drinks, or just to go with some friends or family! They have live music once and a while and it’s right on the water so there is a great view while you’re dining in! Everything is kept very clean! Food is delicious they have a great menu! I would definitely recommend trying The Public House!

By the lake. Nice view. Had a Friday fish fry for lunch. Was good. Atmosphere is like a worn in Pub, bordering on Dive-y. Kinda ordinary atmosphere.

Our recent visit to Public House was good, but not great—a step down from our last time there. The stunning lake view remains the biggest draw, easily a five-star experience. The patio and exterior, however, have lost some of their appeal since our last visit and could use some upkeep.

While we enjoyed the view from the patio, we were bothered by a lot of yellow jackets (like everywhere this time of year), which made it a bit uncomfortable. We split an order of chicken fingers, which were fine but not homemade, and the fries were a letdown. We were expecting fresh-cut fries as the menu stated, but they were the seasoned variety that many places are switching to. It was a shame we couldn't stay for the live music that was setting up as we left. Overall, it's a solid choice for the view, but the food and atmosphere don't quite match up to what they once were.

The view is beautiful. The food was far below our expectations. My salmon was extremely salty. The risotto was awful. My husband’s beer battered haddock was dry and the batter rock hard. Per my request, they did bring me a broiled haddock instead. It was subpar but edible nonetheless. The glass above our heads was super dirty. Dried up bugs all over. Looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Bathrooms needed attention badly. Will not be coming back.

Perch dinner was cooked to perfection. Large perch were delicious and it took me 2 days to eat 2 of the perch. I definitely will order them again!

We got the seafood linguine and a side ceasar salad and split both There was plenty of food for 2 people share. It was super good. Just delicious! Would highly recommend it.

Beautiful view! The reason I give two stars is because of the quality of the food. Hardly any freshness to anything. I didn’t get a picture of the tased but they tasted canned. I had a hard time finishing the food because the texture, flavor and freshness was just not worth it. Prices were also high!!
The outside sitting area definitely needs to be cleaned and freshened up. Tons of cobwebs and kind of dirty and run down feeling. Again the view was beautiful though!!

Firstly as a traveler coming through town the host was immediately rude when we said we didn’t have a reservation.
Waited about an hour an a half for our food. Waitress got our drinks wrong twice.
I ordered chicken that tasted terribly like fish. For a high dollar restaurant in the water that apparently requires reservations the service and food were less then subpar. Highly disappointed.

Stopped in for a light meal. Ended up ordering several appetizers. Waitress was trading someone took our order and we never saw her after that. Appetizers were not what we expected. Poutine was French fries with a chunk of melted cheese and cold when it got to table. Clams casino was something g I never tasted before crunchy items on top no where near what they should taste like and the scallops were overcooked. This place may have a lake view but food was not what I expected. Beer was warm when served too

Food was good, but our waitress could have stopped by once or twice and service also took a long time. They really weren't very busy and it appeared there was plenty of staff.
