Food was great. I had to 3/3. Turkey, pulled pork, brisket. All delicious, seasoned perfect. Mac n cheese, cheesy potato so good. Fries are ok. Added some loganberry sauce to meat. Yummy! So going again. Just had my left over for lunch today.

The good: ribs and brisket were pretty good. French fries were seasoned well, hot and crisp.
The Bad: the coleslaw was the worst I have ever had. It was not chilled, more like room temperature. Dry with no flavor. Not creamy, no vinegar, no salt. Seasoned with what seemed to be paprika. Another person at my table ordered coleslaw and felt the same.
Service was nothing special. Not great. Not horrible.
Atmosphere was very loud.

I am sad to read these other reviews and pictures of good portions and good food! We were there almost 2 hours and 10 min of it was actually eating. We had the slowest service, the portions were so small and it was really expensive. I was really disappointed.

Have had their BBQ multiple times at their original location and it was always really good. Went to check out the new spot for a ramen night and still really good food, service and quality.

We went to Yankee to try out their food for the possibility of having them cater our family reunion. The food was delicious. Service was good. Nothing was too spicy everything was perfectly spiced.
We went ahead and put a large order in for our reunion. The owner was nice and helped me to figure out how much I may need, very helpful. The food came on time, everything arrived at the same time, no worries there. Perfect
I am not sure what happened to the rub on our order. I would think the cayenne might have tipped over into it. Everything was too spicy, even the smoked mac and cheese was incredibly spicy. Even without the Original BBQ sauce. I was quite surprised, as when we went there this was not the case. Maybe different people make the rub differently? IDK.
Too spicy for the kids to eat, had to make them hot dogs. Too spicy for many of the older adults, had to make them cheeseburgers. In a way, it defeated the purpose of having it catered. Sigh. This is why the 3 stars.
Would I recommend them? Yes; but like I said, the heat spice level of the food at the restaurant was much less than the catered food. Just something to mention maybe if having an event catered as it is quite possible it will be different than what they serve in the restaurant.

After a long day under the Saturday lights, our Hamburg Little Loop boys walked away with three wins over their rivals, the CSRA Cougars — and let me tell you, the energy was sky-high. As one does after a clean sweep, we went hunting for a celebratory meal. The boys were unanimous: BBQ.
We’re a family that loves trying new places, especially BBQ joints, and Yankee BBQ in Orchard Park checked all the right boxes — local, family-run, and just a short throw from the Bills stadium.
From the moment we walked in, the place had that authentic smokehouse feel — the kind of joint that’s been marinating in history as long as its ribs have been in the smoker. The walls are packed with Bills memorabilia — jerseys, photos, helmets — it’s part restaurant, part museum, and all Buffalo pride.
We grabbed a big table, soaking in the atmosphere, and right next to us sat none other than Hall of Famer Andre Reed and his crew. They were having an absolute blast — plates piled high, shots flowing, the kind of good-time energy that makes you smile just being nearby.
We showed up a bit late, so the ribs and mac & cheese were already sold out (which, in my book, means they’re probably incredible — just gives us a reason to come back). So we pivoted to the meat by the pound — half a pound of pulled pork, half a pound of brisket, plus buns and deviled eggs on the side.
The table immediately split into two camps: Enzo and I were Team Brisket — tender, smoky, perfectly barked — while August and Roman held strong on Team Pulled Pork, swearing it was the juiciest they’d ever had. Annemarie played it safe in the middle, stealing bites from both sides.
Before long, silence fell — the universal sign of a family annihilating their meal. Three football-playing boys can eat like linebackers, and I swear I need a second job just to keep up with their post-game appetites. Thankfully, prices were more than fair, and the portions generous enough to fill every last stomach at the table.
Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, one of the guys from Andre Reed’s table stopped us on the way out, asking how everything was. My wife mentioned the boys’ big wins that day, and he smiled, ran back, and waved Andre over. Next thing you know, the boys are shaking hands and taking a photo with a Hall of Famer — grinning from ear to ear.
It was the perfect ending to a perfect Buffalo day — great food, great people, and that unmistakable Western New York warmth.

The biggest drawback was there is no handicapped accessibility. My mother is in a wheelchair chair and she had to be carried up the stairs. The pulled pork was overseasoned. The ribs were good, as well as the brisket. The waitress was very nice and attentive.
All in all, I probably would not go back.

The food overall wasn’t terrible. Not a big fan of their homemade barbecue sauces, but that is just my own preference. Service was a little slow, but we did go at a very busy time so we understood why. I was very surprised at the blonde hostess. She claimed this restaurant is her families. I mentioned that I was a pastry chef and I loved their smoked cheesecake. She immediately snapped and said that I need to give credit to their restaurant if I ever do that. I ignored the comment at first, but then I saw her get snippy to a gentleman making a harmless joke about the decor being screwed to the walls so nobody would steal them. i understand she is protective of this business, but it’s doing more harm than good. I definitely think the restaurant would do well to invest in some customer service classes for their family

I want to say 4.5 stars. We got the large sampler platter and the loganberry burnt ends. Ribs and smoked turkey were the top favs, along with the corn bread and smoked Mac and cheese. Some of the side dishes were a little dry (hence the half star deduction) but the flavor was great on everything.
The server was very friendly and attentive and the prices were super reasonable. We will be back.

I was not impressed at all. Everything was dried out except the brisket. That was good.

We drive all the way there from Niagara Falls because they have the best BBQ in the area and it's always satisfying. We look forward to our burnt ends every Thursday 🥰 Can't way for Texas twinkies to come back

The service and atmosphere was great, and I really enjoy it. However the food left some stuff to be desired. As someone from texas, I found the meat lacked a lot of smokey flavor that makes texas style bbq great, and the brisket cut too thick. The rubs were great and the meats weren't dry. The wings were awesome, along with the mac and cheese and beans being good. The slaw needs work, it kinda just tastes like heavy cream on lettuce. White bread is a staple of TX bbq and is a mandatory side. A loaf with something like the sampler would be great, even if you charge a couple bucks extra. The original bbq just tasted weird to me, but the logan berry and sweet bbq sauces were also great. And, I understand a penny saved is a penny earned, but you can't have the tx flag in your logo and not serve name brand Dr. Pepper. If your craving some tx bbq its not a bad place to eat, but it just needs improvement.
