Just left and quite honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a VERY long time. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years, and in that time I've NEVER once asked for a discount, but this was bad...First of all, we weren't greeted for almost 10 minutes. We ordered burgers and were never told that they were out of some toppings- no big deal but like.. at least communicate to your guest that something about their meal is not going to be what they expect. Secondly, it took ~45 minutes for us to get our food, which would've been understandable if they were packed, but nearly half the other tables were empty when we'd ordered... the table that was seated 30 minutes after us, got their meal (not their app!) within 10 minutes of us getting ours... something doesn't line up there, line cooks..The icing on the cake was the BEYOND burnt Beyond Burger patty... which was so burnt and dried out that, despite having not eaten anything all day and being absolutely famished, I couldn't bring myself to eat more than 3 bites. The mac and cheese would've redeemed y'all a little, but it was luke warm at best by the time it got to me.Like I said- I work in a restaurant. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was just... really really bad.

I love the brewery!!!! Such amazing food and such a fun atmosphere. Particularly amazing in the warm months because they have an awesome outdoor set-up. Great place to drink or get food (or both!).

First visit this summer, was very impressed. Large outdoor "beer garden" seating area. Kid friendly. I wanted to stay inside (mosquitos are always an issue in the evening), so they have a really nice tap room area as well as their dining area. You might start with their award-winning American Brown Ale. I was very pleased with how well made this ale was, with real depth and richness without any cloying sweetness. I followed it up with a Pomegranate Odyssey, a wild fermented sour ale. If you like sour ales, as I do, you should like this, although I've had more strikingly sour ones. This, however, nicely balances just a slight sweetness of pomegranate with the sour ferment. Their veggie burger is very good, although it's not made in-house. Still, it's a quality burger. Perhaps it's changed since my visit, but the veggie burger was served only on a gluten-free roll. Like somehow they'd cover the vegetarians and the gluten-free crowd in one dish, like feeding two birds with one crumb. But I'd prefer a regular, wheat-based roll. Fries were excellent, too.But what really made them stand out was the excellent service and friendly staff. I was alone, and the manager and bar tend both chatted with me, but without being intrusive. Really great people I was happy to get to know a little bit, and they were quite willing share info with me about the menu and brews, as this was my first visit.Very walkable from downtown Hamilton or even from the main Colgate U. campus. Sidewalks or pathways are available to keep off the main road, Rte. 128. No need for the designated driver! Will be back!

Not sure how they do when students are in town, but we were equally ignored while outside and inside. Not sure where the fault is but something isn't right. although once served, (after an hour) they did give us a round of beers on the house.

My wife and I hadn't been back to Hamilton in 20+ years, and were very happy to discover Good Nature Brewery. We enjoyed a dinner outdoors, and the food, drinks and service were all terrific. I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

The new server Danaela was fantastic. The entire staff was warming and accommodating, not to mention knowledgeable. Great beer selection. Try the pretzels w/ cheese ?

My first visit this summer. Nice setting with ample outdoor seating. I had one of their new beers, Duke, and found it only average, but a decent summer beer. Very good customer service...polite, attentive, friendly. Clean premises.

Had the loaded fries and drunken beignets. The fries were really good, the drunken beignets were AMAZING! Great sauce. Will be making the hour drive out there again for those.

Fabulous artisanal flatbreads; wonderful outdoor seating; excellent beer. What more could you ask for in the 315? Sheila served us and she rocked! ?

Stopped by for a beer and a sandwich before the Cornell game. The brews are as usual first class. But my sandwich was bland and my friend's burger was way overcooked. Hope there has not be a falling off of quality in the kitchen, though the change of ownership adds an element of doubt.

If you're in Hamilton and looking for a fresh bite to eat and have a drink, this is the spot. Great atmosphere, delicious and filling food and fast service. It can be a little pricey, $70 plus tip for two at lunch. But worth the visit for a quick lunch date. They also have outside entertainment during the summer.

Lovely facility in a great setting. The beers had a wide range of flavor and the food smelled amazing but we didn't try. Hoping to go back.

Arrived to a very pleasant atmosphere and an attentive staff. Tried their personal Irish Coffee Stout and it was delicious. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a side of the Mac and cheese. Pulled pork was cooked perfectly and topped with an in-house coleslaw. The mac was made with an agreed cheddar and gouda and panko crumbs which gave it an excellent flavor with the added texture. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks. I'll be coming back and definitely become a regular.

Great ambience with a live band. We had a small issue with a food order that was promptly and effectively resolved by wait staff. Beer was great. They also allowed me to buy a pitcher of beer for the band. Would happily return when we return to the university.

I've been going there for a very long time. When I first started they had a staff that was very enthusiastic, energetic and knowledgeable when speaking about their beers. This was 5 plus years ago....Now the staff looks like they want to be anywhere else but there. Even the bartenders who are supposed to be the ones talking up the beers. Went Friday night to close out the tab and the "hip dude" with backwards hat just tosses the receipt on the counter and walks away. Asked do i need to sign only to be ignored as he turns his back toward me and my wife. I been there 3 times in the past 2 months and they're all the same. The atmosphere is the equivalent to a bar. There is absolutely 0 direction it seems with the staff. Was seated but didn't have a waiter. So we went up to the counter outside the awkward wide open kitchen to order pretzel and the person said you have to have a waiter take your order. So out came a random older woman who i didn't see all night place the order for us. Beer, it seems you also get yourself that's if you can fight through the colgate students who always block the bar socializing.... So overall, it has gone down hill. Beer isn't as good as it used to be. Food not good (they have kids in the back making food) service terrible. I'll try again because I am local but not for awhile...
