Rusch's Bar & Grill open for in dining or take out

Food was good, the server was nice. My biggest issue was that they split our group even though there was a perfect fine table for our group of nine people. First argument was that they wanted to “ leave it open just in case a bigger group showed,” then they didn’t “have enough chairs,” and finally they said there was a “big party coming in later.” That sounds like a reservation to me. Which is fair. But before my group arrived we called ahead and asked to make a reservation, and we were turned down by the person on the phone because they “don’t allow reservations.”

It just felt like double standards to me.

The chicken parm was good but the panini needed work. Overall, really good service and atmosphere. Wish I liked the food more. Beer was good and plentiful 😊

The fries are very good here. Steak is alright at best, but what do you expect? Everything else side-wise was very meh. Service was friendly and fast. However the place is very loud, both in terms of people and some sort of machine going the whole time.

Took a road trip and ended up in Hamilton,NY looking for a restaurant, found Rauchs. The food was excellent, waitress was great, very friendly and attentive.

The food was very reasonably priced and excellent. The cod special for lunch was great.

Ate there for the first time. Food was excellent besides the corn which was old and stale, likely from sitting in water all day which isn't cool when you're spending over $100 for dinner. But besides that, everything was terrific. My steak was excellent, the wings were great, cheese fries were great and my (new favorite) wine was fabulous. The service was a little bit slow but our waitress was very sweet. Overall an excellent meal minus the old veggies and we will definitely return again to try other things. Location was very convenient and we were seated right away. Will be back.

The onion soup was not hot. The greens on my steak panini were bland and undercooked. The fries were undercooked and mushy. The bar tender took care of all the people that he knew.
I will not be returning and have told several people of the poor experience that we had.

A coworker and I stopped in to get food to go and we’re both pleasantly surprised. I’ve been coming up to Hamilton for a couple years for work and have avoided this place despite its proximity to my job due it the “bar food stigma”. And it’s been MY loss. We ordered the steak salad and I got their balsamic dressing. The veggies were fresh and the steak was cooked well. Slightly more done than I prefer, but it was tender and flavorful. The dressing was amazing too. The salads came with a couple of garlic rolls that we weren’t expecting and they were a tasty addition to our lunch! We will absolutely be going back!

Food was excellent. My daughter said the burger was just okay, wasn't "great". Food came out hot and fresh. Steak meal was huge and no fat on the steak. Would recommend people to try it!

Parking: Parking is about a half a block away. Short walk for most, but if you have a challenged person, maybe drop them at the door first.

Flat beer and just warm food.. one and done for me.. was very disappointed ?

Wow, wow, wow. We are not from this area, just visiting at the campground up the road. You take your chances when you pick from google. But this place wins in all areas. Most important was our waiter, Travis T-2. He was the perfect blend of help, attentive yet not annoying. We will come here again, especially if we can hang out with T-2. It was kind of crowded last night, and loud. So happy to learn from T-2 that it was graduation night and not usually so loud. I had the meatloaf and garlic mashed, while my husband built his own burger, which he said was insanely good. Better than any burger he remembers. Appetizer of chicken strips in a honey barbecue. Those I would drive for alone. The spinach/artichoke dip was pheomenol and is made fresh daily. So, so good.

Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair is a little tricky. It's uphill to get through the first door, tight right, then left into the second door. I finally had to get up and walk through the doors and let my husband maneuver the chair.
