I enjoyed the experience overall. The view was scenic. The wine was tasty. Many different varieties available that should fit something in everyone's palette. The customer service was iffy though. There were two people serving. One was somewhat indifferent. The other was great though and explained the wines as she poured them.
Jen made it so our unplanned roadside stop at Heron Hill Winery was meaningful. Aside from offering us a genuine education in some basics on what we were tasting, she brings to the job a background in the hospitality industry to make for good conversation. Absolutely stunning views, even in the fall. Very generous pours for their tastings and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not to mention gorgeous wines. 5 stars all around, we will definitely be back!
