I tried the Ravat 51 tonight with 3 other people and it is absolutely delicious and will definitely be buying it again. Bully Hill wines never disappoint.

Bully hill is a staple in the finger lakes. I recommend them to everyone passing through because the time spent is not only its own slice of history but a nod to all that the community strives to be. You are treated like family whether you’re a local or someone passing through for the afternoon. The wine is timeless, the food is comfort and the history is the definition of why we all want our roots to be in the finger lakes.

Plan an afternoon and you will not regret it!

Dylan was fantastic at the wine tasting

Bully Hill is a must when visiting Keuka Lake! Rich history and great, inexpensive wines. There’s also a FLX wine museum and art gallery on site! Lunch or brunch at the restaurant rounds out the experience. Plan to be there for a few hours!

Bully Hill was so much more than a wine tasing. First, and most obvious is the entire winery is just gorgeous. Beautiful view from the top of a mountain looking down across acres of vineyards to the serene Keuka Lake below. You forget you're in NYS! The restaurant is very good. BEST chicken salad I've ever eaten. Sincerely, I don't how you can make someone crave chicken salad but they have succeeded. I dream about that sandwich. The wine tasting is fun and informative! I had no idea just how long and storied wine making is in NYS. And the Taylor family has been a part of it from close to day one. Check out the Art Gallery. Its definitely worth your time. My absolute favorite wine is the St. Croix Red. Very good - easy to drink- not sweet- which I love. Bully Hill is a MUST when visiting Keuka Lake.

Bully Hill is absolutely a must visit if you’re in the area! In fact we try to visit whenever we have guests in town- it’s a great dining area with a fabulous selection and between the gallery, tasting room, and gift shop you have so much to explore. Just recently we were able to enjoy a cozy lunch there with friends- can’t go wrong with the falafel salad! I want to plug going this time of year- gorgeous winter views and such a comfortable atmosphere! And I hear Santa will be checking it out this Saturday!

Side note- years ago my wife and I chose Bully Hill for our wedding wine. If you’re seeking a wide selection to please a big group they are a stellar choice and so easy to work with. From pick up to pour they were responsive, helpful, and everyone loved it!

This place never disappoints! It’s a favorite of ours - for all the right reasons. Staff bend over backwards to make sure your experience is always on par. Wine is always consistent and reliable, and we’ve recommended many visiting family and friends for tastings and/or to the restaurant. And speaking of the restaurant….the menu has something for everyone; food quality and portions are excellent every time! It really shows how this local family cares about their craft and taking care of their customers.

I had a good experience at the winery at first, Curt was exceptionally knowledgeable. He shared the history of the winery in great detail and answered all of my questions about the winemaking process and much more!
However, I did experience an issue with Dylan that I feel is important to mention. His attitude came across as passive-aggressive, and at one point he even made a shadow gesture on the wall that felt dismissive. It was as if he shouted to the wine maker that I was just “A Somm from NYC asking too many questions,” when in reality, I was genuinely interested in learning more about the winery and its craft.
What made the situation worse was overhearing him criticize me to another customer standing right next to me while shaking his head..When I told him he was a little passive, he got a little defensive . I swear that even my partner recognized his behavior and said that he could have handled it better.

This was disappointing. Dylan, be better! You should know how to provide good customer service without getting annoyed when someone asks you about wine making, while representing the front house at a higher scale.

Even my nine-year-old son would had a better attitude pouting that wine with a bigger smile!

Nice place to have lunch. Counter service, not as nice as it used to be but still nice view and good food sort of pricey.
