Delayed review, this experience was in November of '24, but was looking at their website debating whether to return and decided to post a review. Used to come here all the time - great wines. Decided to come one time with our senior giant breed dog since they explicitly state on their website that dogs are welcome inside and outside at the Keuka location on their website and the weather was supposed to be poor so we were looking for indoor options for him. We carried him up the stairs since he can't do stairs anymore - and he was the sweetest guy that everyone loves at every winery (he has wines and a beer named after him in fact). We were told when we entered we had to stay outside by one of the usual tasting room staff we'd met a half dozen times - and got attitude when we pointed out that it said on their website he would be allowed. They've still yet to correct this on their site - whether it's because she simply didn't like dogs and was in fact incorrect (highly possible) or they simply don't care. Either way, I've told a bunch of people about this interaction - and probably won't return. If you don't want to allow people with dogs, that's your right - but don't say you do on your website. People plan around that and we were just trying to give our old guy some attention and joy in his twilight.

Didn't get to try any wines. Staff was so rude that we left.
No clear direction on what to do, so we walked up to the bar (like any other place). We said we were here for a tasting and with attitude, the first lady said we had to check in first. OK, we didn't know. Then we went over to the checkout out counter and the second lady had a bad attitude as well. Didn't finish explaining what we had to do to get just a tasting. She took the next customer as we waited. So we left.
And we made sure to tell everyone at our next few stops all about this terrible place.

Great place to sample some local with excellent views of Keuka lake.
The Switzerland Inn down the hill has great food (and beer) , in walking distance.

Was a club member for several years.
Just canceled. Had two rounds of wine we picked up. Had 4 bottles of
Resting total. The 2 that were open
We're spoiled. Did not open the other
2.
I have called the winery 4, maybe
5, times to talk and let them know.
3 weeks of calling. I have received
NOTHING, NADA, from them.
Saddens me. I KNOW wine!
Started, owned a wine store and
Pushed n.y. wine from the start.
I know BAD wine! Ask any vineyard
Winery owner who started in early
90's...they confirm my facts.
Very sad and disappointed...
SHOCKING!

We had the pleasure of working with not one but two servers today- Carolyn and Elise are both personable, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines they serve. They know the grapes, the terroir and have an unerring eye for what the customer will like! If you love drier wines, you will not be disappointed! Try the Savignan (NOT Sauvignon, it’s a different grape from the North of France-dry, flavorful and delicious!)

We stopped on a Saturday afternoon for a tasting and though they were busy there was no wait. My friend really enjoys their full-bodied taste and dryer wines that many other wineries in the area do not offer. The service is always friendly and informative. Clean establishment with a nice view, we both commented on how nice their bathrooms are. It is a small establishment, but worth stopping in!

Had a wonderful experience there on Thursday. Thank you David for the knowledgeable and courteous service as our tasting guide. Your suggestions were greatly appreciated and it was a very enjoyable experience. Also, thank you to Tracy for the interaction with us! She was fun, informative and also made some great suggestions. We've been to the Keuka location before and have always had great service and been treated with respect. As we did on previous visits, we again purchased some of their great wines!

Carolyn is a true gem. You can tell by the wine maker the time and care they take with their wines. Always a fabulous experience.

I think I've been to over 100 wineries in my life - I've never been treated as badly as this one. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would give zero. After reading the winery's feedback about my rating, I INSIST: we asked to sit for the tasting inside the room, and they told us the tables and chairs were only for members; We asked to go to the tables and chairs outside, and they told us no, because they did not have enough staff to do the outdoor tasting. Please RAVINE people, don't lie, KINDLY didn't offer us a tasting sitting outside the winery. Better to take charge, and say: ok, we were wrong.

Today,my husband and I stopped in ravines for a tasting, we had the best experience. Felisha, the manager was so very sweet and helpful when we were purchasing our wine to take with us. Carolyn was our server and she was so good at her knowledge of wines. We will definitely be back and hope to see felisha and Carolyn again. The view was amazing and the winery was so clean. Thank you for this day.

I have never felt more unwelcome in my life. From the very beginning, the women there were dismissive and rude. When we asked if we could wait for the tasting guide sitting in some tables, the receptionist said we couldn’t since that was only for club members (mind you.. the place was empty). We waited anyways to see what our options were, and again were very dismissive. They listened to us speaking in Spanish among ourselves and the receptionist said to the tasting guide “they don’t want tasting they just want a bottle”, as if we didn’t understand or listen (or couldn’t decide for ourselves, we were just asking for options). We asked the guide if we could take the tasting outside because there were no stools on the bar and she said “no”, that she could bring one for one of the members of our group. I cannot help but feel that their rudeness had to do with us speaking Spanish and being a party of 8, but having read other reviews maybe it’s just their way. We decided to leave because we felt really unwelcome. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
