Friendly staff. Wines were good
Great place !
We stopped on a Saturday afternoon for a tasting and though they were busy there was no wait. My friend really enjoys their full-bodied taste and dryer wines that many other wineries in the area do not offer. The service is always friendly and informative. Clean establishment with a nice view, we both commented on how nice their bathrooms are. It is a small establishment, but worth stopping in!
Had a wonderful experience there on Thursday. Thank you David for the knowledgeable and courteous service as our tasting guide. Your suggestions were greatly appreciated and it was a very enjoyable experience. Also, thank you to Tracy for the interaction with us! She was fun, informative and also made some great suggestions. We've been to the Keuka location before and have always had great service and been treated with respect. As we did on previous visits, we again purchased some of their great wines!
Carolyn is a true gem. You can tell by the wine maker the time and care they take with their wines. Always a fabulous experience.
I think I've been to over 100 wineries in my life - I've never been treated as badly as this one. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would give zero. After reading the winery's feedback about my rating, I INSIST: we asked to sit for the tasting inside the room, and they told us the tables and chairs were only for members; We asked to go to the tables and chairs outside, and they told us no, because they did not have enough staff to do the outdoor tasting. Please RAVINE people, don't lie, KINDLY didn't offer us a tasting sitting outside the winery. Better to take charge, and say: ok, we were wrong.
Today,my husband and I stopped in ravines for a tasting, we had the best experience. Felisha, the manager was so very sweet and helpful when we were purchasing our wine to take with us. Carolyn was our server and she was so good at her knowledge of wines. We will definitely be back and hope to see felisha and Carolyn again. The view was amazing and the winery was so clean. Thank you for this day.
I have never felt more unwelcome in my life. From the very beginning, the women there were dismissive and rude. When we asked if we could wait for the tasting guide sitting in some tables, the receptionist said we couldn’t since that was only for club members (mind you.. the place was empty). We waited anyways to see what our options were, and again were very dismissive. They listened to us speaking in Spanish among ourselves and the receptionist said to the tasting guide “they don’t want tasting they just want a bottle”, as if we didn’t understand or listen (or couldn’t decide for ourselves, we were just asking for options). We asked the guide if we could take the tasting outside because there were no stools on the bar and she said “no”, that she could bring one for one of the members of our group. I cannot help but feel that their rudeness had to do with us speaking Spanish and being a party of 8, but having read other reviews maybe it’s just their way. We decided to leave because we felt really unwelcome. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Awful experienceRude ladies
People was very rude. We ask for a seating place and told us that ones were available were for members and for the ones downstairs there wasn’t anyone who Could serve there. There was no custumers and we were a party of 8. Unconceiveable

Had a terrific tasting today at the Keuka Lake site. David did a great job presenting the Ravine wines. All the wines were excellent!
We had a wonderful time. Great wine, great service. David went above and beyond for us. Will stop again.
Walked in and was " greeted" by a younger gentlman I believe was named Owen. He was instantly rude and dismissive. Had an attitude when asking about the tasting room and was then even rude to another wonderful employee who stepped in and was trying to be pleasant and appropriate. After talking with her we walked around for a minute before we could hear him continue to complain out loud about us and decided to leave. Will not be returning due to poor customer service.
My husband & I came with a reservation on the day of the eclipse. The tasting portion was relaxing as the barn is beautiful, service good. However, we will never come again. The tasting room manager Cheyenne was disrespectful, rude and had no customer service skills. As I looked over the options, I decided that the mostly dry wines were not going to be enjoyable so I opted for just a glass instead of a flight. We also had a farmers board. I wanted to find a wine I enjoyed and potentially buy bottles. This is where it goes downhill, during our time we witnessed Cheyenne continually dismiss customers--for example, there was a group of 6 without reservations- instead of kindly informing them of reservations that were coming in or coming up with an alternate idea to enjoy the vineyard, she verbally pushed them out and made them feel unwelcome many times. I completely understood her point of view re reservations; however for the next 1.5 hours there were no reserved patrons and these customers could have very easily stayed in the standing area.At the end of our tasting , I went to check out. The kind but very slow gentlemen was helping other guests and so she asked if we were checking in. Both another customer and I said checking out. So instead of helping, she proceeded to write out table tickets for future reserved guests for the eclipse--making us wait for over 15 min.--there were no other patrons and it was not busy-even though she had the capability to check us out since she checked out guests for a case of wine who came after the both of us waiting in line. So instead of helping customers in front of her-she worried about future customers who were not even on site. Here's the icing on top: We prepaid $20/EA for 2 tastings. Since I got a glass of wine instead of a flight, I asked to have the bill adjusted accordingly. She refused stating no refund within 24 hrs. I wasn't asking for a refund, but she could adjust the bill by changing the farmers board accordingly. She pretended to look at the bill/computer-then charged me the regular price with no adjustments. I stated the server never mentioned this, if so i would have gotten another glass of wine since a bottle was the price of the tasting. It wasn't the $10, it was the flippant attitude of hers. Again she restated the no refunds. I asked her name-she stated she was the tasting manager and the owner made the rules. She just kept stating the rules without any compassion or understanding. She stated restaurants do the same policy- I politely disagreed. She had no personality or customer service on what was to be a great once in a life time eclipse days.--Signed a previous GM of 2 recreational businesses with over 20k customers a season.
Owen was terrible and rude. Walked in to try and do a wine tasting and he couldn’t even be bothered to attempt customer service. The plot of land is the only reason it got 2 stars. I didn’t even have the opportunity to try the wine so I can’t even give an honest review on that.Maybe whoever is reading this will have better luck by going there on Owen’s day off where they will receive proper customer service and a chance to taste the wine.Boo to you Owen and Boo to management for keeping you around.
