A cozy place with some of the most fun flavors I’ve ever seen! The breakfast egg roll is a MUST! Plus bacon chocolate chip pancakes are the perfect blend of salty & sweet!

We stopped here on a whim (not from the area), and while we weren't greeted or given a menu for quite some time and had to wait even longer for our food to come out, as discouraged as I felt about the food to come given our first impression, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was worth the wait (aside from the fruit salad- the blueberries were spoiled and the bananas were brown). My son enjoyed his personal pizza, my husband enjoyed his veggie omelet and home fries and I enjoyed my bacon cheeseburger and fries. The place os very clean. My only complaint regarding service is having to wait for over 10 minutes just to recieve a menu and be greeted.

This place sells the famous Freight Train sandwich which was always a family favorite. One if not the best things on the menu. Havent ate here in a year and just had the sandwich again and instantly noticed why I stopped coming. The chicken is no longer real chicken. Used to be though. Just chicken nugget meat in a tender shape. This place in on the decline and it was one of the staple food spots in Harriman. Cause there is barely any. Also a little annoyed they charge you $2.50 for a fountain soda in a 12oz cup when you can buy a 20oz everywhere else for the same price in a reg diner.

Wife ordered French toast. Which was really good! UNTIL we found the waitress’ hair was in it! I ordered and egg omelette with turkey, tomatoes, home fries and a Belgian waffle. The omelette was good until I got toward the center where I unfortunately was tasting spoil turkey. And the Belgian waffle was really really doughy. The home fries were really good! Its a nice place! I’m on the fence about recommending and returning because the hair and spoil turkey! If there was no hair the French toast would be a 5/5! If the turkey wasn’t spoil the omelette would be a 4/5!

Looking for local breakfast spot and this place fit was not too far from out hotel. Was immediately seated and our waitress was super nice and suggested rhe special of the week. Over easy eggs on a bed of feta cheese over avocado toast with hot honey 🍯My wife gor an vegetarian egg omelet with side of fresh fruit. My breakfast was simply amazing and was definitely the start I needed for a full day of shopping 🛍

As someone who has done numerous restaurant reviews for both TV and radio, it’s disappointing to write a negative one—especially for a place I’ve frequented for years. Unfortunately, today was the biggest letdown. The bacon tasted old, possibly due to reused oil, and the home fries were excessively greasy with an off taste. My Eggs Benedict was undercooked and nearly inedible. I voiced my concerns about the bacon and home fries, but the waitress showed no concern—. Her response to my complaint was simply, “We just opened it today,” which felt dismissive and rude. To make matters worse, I waited over 30 minutes for the food—something I should’ve taken as an early warning sign. I had been looking forward to the meal, but it ended in complete disappointment. As a local resident, I’ve supported this restaurant for a long time, but sadly, I won’t be returning. A $40 bill for food that was barely edible . I wish them well, but they’ve lost a loyal customer.
My food was not good. I don’t know if the oil was bad or old or what, but I complained that the bacon did not taste well and it tasted old and I complained about the home fries and everything was very oily and I got the eggs Benedict and it was worse than a poached egg And I’m just writing this because I felt like for $40. I could’ve gotten a better meal somewhere else and I hate to write bad reviews, but considering that the waitress was not helpful that’s why.

I ordered sandwich called the hombre. Nowhere in the description did it say what type of bread it came on? I thought being a chicken cutlet. It would be on a hero, but I was wrong. It came on a very small Kaiser roll. With a very small, dried chicken breast? The sandwich had no flavor. First and last time I will be going to this establishment.

Food portions are very very small. Not worth what I paid. I don’t mind spending a little more money for food that’s a decent portion, but not for what I got today. Literally the smallest I’ve ever seen. Our waitress was very nice and took good care of us. I didn’t have the heart to complain to her, thus this review.

This place consistently serves great food. Corned beef hash and eggs with home fries is unmatched. It’s worth the 40 minute drive from New Jersey.
