As one who has spent a lot of time in Japan this is as close as you can come to the real thing. Perfection on all counts as to freshness and taste.A totally relaxing meal, as sushi/sashimi should be.
If you want genuine, traditional, delectable sushi, this is the place. I have travelled extensively and this is really an incredible gem of a place that so happens to be hidden in Hartsdale, NY. The freshest fish, simply put into the skilled hands of the incredible chefs here, become glorious minimal works of art. A perfect honoring of each ingredient. Tony, the owner is a sweet person who my family has known and supported with pleasure for years.

I will forever be grateful to Tony for allowing his community to enjoy the best traditional Japanese sushi/sashimi cuisine for over 37 years. There will NEVER be another establishment that will satisfy my cravings better than Azuma. RIP Tony. You will be sorely missed
