Food is great. Cornbeef sandwiches and soups are good as well. Priced reasonably. One of the oldest kosher deli's in white plains.

the French fries were terrific. of course they$7 cost for large was a bit hard to swallow. though it was worthwhile. my wife's pastrami sandwich was ok but lacked the spicy bite that should have been there. I had a brisket to which I needed to add both salt and pepper in order to get something tasty. i know everything is expensive today. my meal of large fries and the two sandwiches came to $42. then add tax, credit card fee and 20% tip and the total was $52. for lunch. I just don't know how many folks can afford this. So this was an ok meal. the ERV ice was really good. since the rests is in a shopping center there was an abundance of free parking.

Had an open sandwich here that I picked up, had the macaroni salad as well to go. Thesandwich was brisket..which I really enjoyed with the gravy. I ordered fries as my side w the sandwich...at first glance they looked like they were refried a couple of times already..but the gravy really saved face for them...i poured it over the sandwich and fries which both came packaged in same aluminum container.. i thought the presentation was very straight to the point, brown paper bag in thin plastic bag- adios and see you next time type..I liked the food alot,

Two sandwiches Two Epic Failures. Pastrami on rye, pure gristle not edible, impossible to chew, barely warm, bland, no flavor. Sent it back, the replacement was chewable, but DRY, DRY, & DRY barely warm and no flavor Corned beef on rye, super DRY, clumpy, barely warm, no flavor. Just dealt with it. Service; wait staff took the order and disappeared, requiring getting assistance from the cashier. A Jewish deli only has to get two things right and it's the corn beef and pastrami. If you can't do that you shouldn't be in business. French Fries: Looked like they were cooked in used black motor oil. Baffled as to how they think it's ok to serve that, they even smelled gross. Left untouched The overall place also did not feel very clean. Mustard container and table were greasy, yuk.

I really wanted to like this place, as I'm a pastrami fan and there aren't many options in Wchester. Unfortunately, it was the toughest pastrami I've ever encountered. Flavor wasn't very good, but not terrible. Still, the brisket needs to be cooked sufficiently to be tender. This was like eating a boot. The pickles were good. The woman in the front was v kind, but my waiter was inattentive.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch 12/27, specifically for pastrami sandwiches. For a deli which touts it's pastrami quality, we were extremely disappointed. We ordered the "traditional" pastrami, which is the pastrami with the fat. The waitress appeared to very disinterested in her job, but was not rude. Just slow and wearing a sour look. We ordered our sandwich on rye, with sour kraut. The soda fountain was down, we were told, so unlimited soda for$3.50 was not available. But a single can was, for $2.50. We ordered a side of onion rings, which came very over done, almost blackened. And room temperature. The sandwich arrived and had maybe one tablespoon sized dollop of kraut, not nearly enough to even cover the meat, nevermind meet the standard. The pastrami was fatty, which is as it should be. But it was also very grizzely. So much so that taking a single bite of the sandwich was impossible without getting into a tug of war with the rest of it. Eventually, we tried utensils, but it was hopeless. $38 down the drain.

Good food, slow service.

Worst corn beef ever. Fatty... basically inedible. The round potato knish was not bad. One star for the sour pickle. Very dissatisfied. Lackluster service.

Boy has this place declined. The inside is old and dirty and even the hot dogs are horrendous. The matzo ball soup was terribly salty and inedible. The pastrami is not the same quality as it used to be.I gave Epsteins two stars instead of one because the folks at the deli counter and the cashier are supernice. Unless the owner steps it up, I don't see this place staying in business much longer.
