Love Cuban food! So happy this is down the street from me. Had the half sandwich and soup special. Chicken soup was hearty with chunks of chicken, potatoes carrots and noodles. Got the mojo pork and grilled onion sandwich, so so good especially with that green sauce! Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu 100%. Small area to eat there, otherwise a great take out option

This place is truly special! If you’re Cuban, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported straight back to your abuelita Mima’s kitchen. We happily drive an hour just to enjoy these authentic dishes. The croquetas are perfection, and the vaca frita fries are my ultimate savory guilty pleasure. JJ’s pan con bistec hits the spot every time with its perfectly seasoned, thinly sliced steak. We decided to give Matanzas Cuban Cafe a try and we scored BIG! The establishment is small but big on authenticity, taste and flavor! The portions are perfect and the food travelled well, considering that we with it. Everything was still warm and delicious! The service was prompt and courteous, and the prices were just right. It’s official-Matanzas is our Cuban restaurant! Please give them a try and spread the word. We must do everything to keep high quality restaurants...
