This is one of my mother's favorite restaurants and I took her for an early dinner yesterday. She had the chicken marsala and I had the chicken sorrentino. Both were fabulous.

If your going for the price fixed early special Get your order in before 6 even if you seated We were seated with drinks and bread on the table last night , the restaurant was very busy When we got to order it was after 6 when we ask when we would get out price fix salad before our meal We were told sorry , you ordered after 6 So we paid full price (no salad,or Coffee and) Skipped the desert we would have ordered With the price of eating out , we will consider Now eating out less.

Everything was great. Food, Service etc. Even the macchiato (no, not the chain coffee shops type, but a real one) was very good. Calamari appetizer was some of the best I've had. I had chicken [don't remember the name :) ] and it was very good. What was a surprise, is that when dishes come with a 'side' of pasta, restaurants use a bland 'marina' sauce. I never care for any of them... .but Pas-Tina's was very good and I enjoyed it. Desserts were also very good. I only had one disappointment, i.e. I am a gin drinker and hoped for a little better gin i.e. Hendricks. However, they do have Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray so I really didn't suffer :)

My family has dined at Pastina for thirty years. We live in Manhattan now but drive up for the most delicious meals! Most recently, I ordered a cod fish dish that was exquisite. So far superior than most restaurants in our Manhattan area. Additionally, the ricotta cheesecake is unmatched. Over the years, our dinners have never disappointed! Our NYC neighbors have no idea what they are missing. Thank you, Tina and staff!

I have been a long time patron of Pastina’s. The food and the staff are first rate. We recently had an office celebration at the restaurant and we all were blown away by the care that we received and everyone thought their food was so tasty. Also the menu is very varied and very reasonably priced for the quality that is served.
