This was my father in laws favorite diner on the days he had cases in court. While on a recent visit to LI we had to stop in for breakfast. Palace Diner did not disappoint. Friendly staff. Immaculate surroundings. Delicious food at a fair price. We lingered for a while fondly remembering our years on LI. Thanks Palace Diner staff

I picked up food and a soda. The cover of the soda was not on all the way and spilled in my brand new car!!!! Now on to the next issue….I ordered garlic bread with mozzarella and they gave it to me burnt. Now onto the 3rd issue. I also ordered fries which were also burnt. Plus the Mac & cheese was dry. NOT HAPPY!!!! ?

August 28th 11-10 pm.. Entered the establishment to have a nice triple decker and sandwich. Upon entering the salt/pepper manger expressed we are closing at 12pm....i said OK.. I will not order much.. Mind you the waitress - Skinny blond with the joker smile was our server.. I ordered right away for both me and my spouse. I went then to the bathroom.. I came back a plastic mayo cup was at the edge on my side of the table.. I thought that was weird.. I asked the waitress for Cole saw.. She said I would have to charge you and got into a conversation of why it's not complimentary... She had the happiest clown smile (joker) explaining to charge for Cole slaw. I expressed.. - for like mocking me.. Now I would like to see your manger.. I explained we dine frequently.. At end... We got up and walked.. Never ever returning... Disgusting attitude and a waste of our time.... Done.
