This was my father in laws favorite diner on the days he had cases in court. While on a recent visit to LI we had to stop in for breakfast. Palace Diner did not disappoint. Friendly staff. We entered the Diner, and were pleasantly greeted, and immediately seated with menus. We were given water and our server arrived with complimentary wings and a bread basket, The wings were not typical wings. They were roasted in vegetables, like a chicken fricasee. This place has instantly taken my #1 spot as a diner. I'm from NYC but I'm a student here at SBU and this has been my go-to breakfast spot for years. It's by far the best diner I've been including NYC diners. Why? It's CLEAN. The place, utensils, cups, plates are literally spotless and well maintained.
