Have been going for 20 years. Sushi and other dishes always great and fresh. Have been doing takeout last several years as restaurant is usually busy. They could use extra help on weekends as crowds and takeout get crazy. My suggestion is to order early in the day and bring home for dinner later. I pick up before they close for afternoon and stick in fridge. Saves you from dealing with many door dash drivers which can be a 20 minute wait. It’s worth the wait but after 20 years...

Kotobuki is one of those places that is always busy but you also know you're not going there to have a romantic dinner. It is very tight. The table next to you is so close that you literally hear the person's conversation. The employees always seem stressed.
