This place is like the Authentic Freshly Made Vegetarian Italian Food Restaurant with Amazing service, it’s like ticking off your bucket list to eat this kind of Delicious Vegetarian Italian Food. We Linguine Primavera with Arrabbiata Sauce, specially made vegetarian for us and Burrata Salad with grilled Vegetables also made vegetarian just for us. These two were made to order and were not on the menu. So whenever you visit you must ask for vegetarian options and the servers will not only recommend you the best but also have it made to your taste.

We went for a birthday dinner. The food was amazing! The service was impeccable. The staff was perfect and friendly! Our water glasses were always full even at the end of the meal when most restaurant staff goes on to newer customers they never left us. Have I mentioned the food was wonderful??? If you love seafood you will be very happy. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

A favorite restaurant because it is consistently excellent . All staff are professional, helpful and efficient . We love how the Restaurant was renovated , elegantspacious and excellent sound control .. it never seems noisy . The chef is amazing,Every item is scrumptious . If you love octopus , they have the most tender and delicious Octopus that you have ever had in your life. We love Mezza Luna and you will too. This restaurant had been our all time favorite Mario’s Restaurant and recently reopened and renovated as s Mezza Luna . Fred has succeeded in takingMezza Luna to an even higher level of excellence ..

Went out for a work dinner. The bar is fully stocked and no complaints there. When to came to service our server showed up then disappeared for 15-20 mins and never took a drink order or asked us about appetizers.The wine list is solid for a local Italian restaurant pretty expansive range. The menu had a ton of options but when it actually came down to the food itself, it lacked flavor. The service was spotty, they were there and then went missing for 20 minutes.There are plenty of good food options in the area that I would choose over here. It’s a total different dining experience from Mario.

I actually really liked this place. Very nice and low key.. came a few times now and usually get a veal and pasta. We loved the capelli D'Angelo (crab meat over angel hair).. it was so nice and light, I'm not a huge pasta person but loved this!The veal on both occasions was a lil too salty for my liking but my gf loved it, I think it's all about preference here. Also, since they're medallions, they could have been cooked a bit less but it would not deter me from me coming back here.I love that they don't rush you in and out of here, bartender is super cute and chill.. it can get busy at the bar area and a lil loud but I don't mind... we typically dine at the bar for the vibe and it's a good one in here. Def recommend the carbonara as well but it needs to be piping hot! Also, I love that they will split your portion of pasta for you, it's just easier and less messy!I think this place would be great for a small event!I'll be back :)

Having recently dined at Steves Piccolo Bussola 3 in Hauppauge I was hoping Mezza Luna would be equally as fine dining...well...the shortcomings did not meet up to our expectations. Firstly, Ken our waiter was friendly and did a fine job taking care of us. When we sat down we asked specifically, due to their limited menu, if they could serve us Veal Parm, a standard, and they said yes..When the dishes came out it was their Veal Chop Parm, a $49 rendition. When queried we were told "thats our veal parm" by the female server...she became confrontational and told me I was "being rowdy"...Why would we ask specifically for Veal Parm if it was on the menu...we saw the Veal Chop and thats why we inquired...They took the plates off the table, cut the bone off and reserved it as Veal Parm...This took the lustre off the experience and convinced us we should have returned to Steves....Not worth the aggravation...I thought that the customer is always right! not here....

I held my daughter's Baby Shower at this beautiful restaurant. From the minute I called to inquire about holding an event, to meeting with Fred (owner) at my convenience, viewing the event space and menu, was an extremely easy and unpressured experience. Fred and staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. The food served during the event as well as during my visit for dinner, was beyond our expectations. Overall, Mezza Luna is wonderful in every way;professional but not stuffy and always welcoming.,
