When you wanna get away from the hype, this is the place to go. They have the nicest stafftenders. So kind and on point with the drinks. Im not a regular but that may have to change.

I had a terrible experience at the club starting with the bouncers at the door. The ticket agents were acting like they own the place. They wouldnt give me my VIP band and I was there to DJ. The bouncers were restricting activities inside VIP. and even made some ladies leave the VIP. Over all hospitality was terrible. I will never return. I would not recommend anyone throw an event there. If i could give it less then one star i would.

Drinks - cost me $15 ea with tip - are watered down and the bouncers are crooks (won't get into details) Just a negative vibe all around. @MIXX...we know its not a pub ( which would've been a lot more fun by the way )buts its far from a respectable club where you can truly enjoy yourself. Everyone I've talked to who's been there agrees and hasn't visited there again.

Went here once for a reggae show. Place looks great, really nice space...you can't tell from outside. Show started a bit late, but "a suh Jamaican stay" Great vibe, easy to get too if you live in Suffolk or even eastern Nassau County.. I'll be at the next show.
Never book an event at this venue. They'll treat you like garbage even though you chose their spot. They don't pay the artists, a ton don't even show up! Poor security, dirty bathrooms, sticky dance floor, bad bottle service and $5 water bottles. Look elsewhere, you can do better.

I came to an event and was treated disrespectfully by the female security. The cops had to be called because the club didn't make good on the promise of the hilited performer and people were getting disgruntled . We were supposed to have bottle service and the bottles came out way after I left because management wanted "people to dance first". A/C wasn't on by the tables that we paid to sit at, it was mad uncomfortable. Shouldn't have to go to a venue that you paid for to be treated like a pos. And girls!! Put some clothes on...10 lbs of sugar in a 5 lb bag no bueno..Never again...back to the Emporium!!

Probably the worst club I have ever been to. First off the pat down at the front door was a little excessive to the point that I was a little uncomfortable. Second, i paid $25 for tickets to get in to see jadakiss and $30 to VIP (which was supposed to come with a bottle for myself and my friends). Not only were we told that jadakiss wasn't going to be performing anymore we were told that they weren't going to give us the bottle of liquor we were entitled to being in the VIP section. We were also told we would not receive a refund for their f*** up. We did not receive our bottle until almost 2 am and that was only because we had to fight with them for over an hour. Security was completely unprofessional and rude. I would never suggest this club to anyone I know.

after the shooting that happened at the other club i was glad the security was being tight me and my people enjoyed ourselves knowing that they had it locked down the staff was on point got a great deal on the bottles over all enjoyed it

If you don't have no haters, you not really popping. So many try to duplicate the essence of Mixx and failed miserably. Mixx is Suffolk and Suffolk is Mixx. You can't say, you're going to party in Suffolk, without putting Mixx at the top of your wish list. I witness first hand so many people leaving the venue so happy cause for them, this was the only time in their lives, they got to see a musical star in real life. Most just leave their cell phones on video recording, to cap
