Great food but server could have been more attentive

Last night, disappointing, Saturday night very busy, short staff, always plenty of food, but a costly night out, do not take so many reservations if you cannot handle. No maitre d, bartender doing multiple tasks, waiters running, can only imagine the kitchen, food was not as good as usual.

Service was super slow. 1 waiter for for 16 people. Appetizers were ok the fired calamari was very good. The baked clams were passible but not great. I ordering the veal which I received 2 slices the size of bologna and it was tuff. Portion size was way to small. The marsala sauce was not a marsala sauce. It did not come with any sides. Definitely left hungry after spending a lot. My wife got the chilian sea bass which she said was tasty portion size was nice but later that night she has stomach problems with diarrhea. Definitely don't believe the hype about this place.

He were staying at the Holiday in. Can came in for 8pm. They were nice and still took us. Although the place was almost empty, all the Italians in our group were very happy with the food and the steak siciaianlo was great(although slighty tough and fatty). I will say my fork prongs were not perfectly straight, not sure if that is a good thing or not…..

absolutely fabulous food! i have never tasted one plate there that was not outstanding! the cozy atmosphere is a plus, but the waiters make the dining experience even more enjoyable! frequently includes a visit from the chef, who is to be commended!

Going away dinner for coworker. Not only did they take great care of us, they let us bring our own cake. Some places can be difficult with that. They really help make a great night.

First time visit, actually tried for takeout. Food was very good, ordered all single sizes which was enough to share. A bit pricey however these days everything is. We blame it on the eggs...

The food was good, but the service was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. It began with the valet ignoring us while he was moving cars and asking me to park my own car, which wasn't a big deal. However, we then waited 5-10 minutes at the hostess station with no one attending to us, despite a sign that said ‘please wait here to be seated.' I had to call the restaurant to get seated, which was frustrating. It took a long time to get a waiter, and once we did, he never checked on us throughout our meal. I suspect they might have been short-staffed, but the service was still atrocious.

Food and service were excellent. Baked clams were outstanding. Enjoyed the Occo buso and my wife enjoyed the pork chop. Escarole and beans was also excellent. Timing was perfect. This was our first visit, and definitely will be back.

Being in the same location and very busy at 2pm says it all! Great food and service!

Food was good with plenty of variety. Little expensive for the quality but a very nice eatery for a night out.
