Having lived in this neighborhood for over 30 years, I've been here many times, not always by choice. When friends invite me out and that's where they're going, it's an invite so I don't asked to change the location. I never thought to write a review because I don't want to trash a place in my hometown, however, this place is disgusting and last weekend was the last straw for me. I had to give my drink back three times because the glasses were dirty and then I saw a roach on the bar. The floor was sticky. The bar is gross. 90% of the appetizers are frozen and are fried to order. You can get them from Costco. We ordered jalapeí±o poppers, two were still cold inside. When I ate here I had the prime rib because it was their special, and it was just OK. Very fatty meat. I've also had their catered food at parties. It always seems very greasy to me. This place has following in the neighborhood, if you're coming just for this place, and the ridiculous 3 star rating, don't bother. The Barley House is right down the road, the food is adequate but at least it's clean and much more comfortable.

Wings were hot and the rest was just ok. Service was terrible for a slow Thursday evening. Slow service forgotten orders and totally inattentive waitstaff. Apparently folding napkins and talking was more important than the tables that leave tips.

Great cheeseburger - cooked medium - perfect. Shoestring fries extra crispy the way i like them. New beers on taps - a German Spatan Ale and Yuengling Golden Pilsner - excellent. Ocktoberfest will be in next week. Always a great place to talk to and hear funny lunch talk.

A couple of years ago we attended a graduation party catered by Gordo's. Lots of seafood. The food was very good & well prepared on portable equipment no less. There were clams on the half shell, steamed clams, lobster, ribs, sausage & peppers, BBQ chicken, chili along all the fixings and of course hamburgers & hotdogs. Fast forward a couple of years. A week ago Friday we didn't have dinner & it was already after 22:00 looked up late night restaurants near me & out came Gordo's. Kitchen open until midnight on weekends & bar until 03:00. Off we went. We arrived, the bar was crowded & loud. We were asked whether we wanted to be seated at the bar or dining room. I requested dining room - it was empty. There two waitresses for an empty dinning room? Eventually we decided on our entree's I ordered Broiled Seafood Provencal & spouse order daily special - Salmon. In the meantime out came the bread basket - six, yes six for two people, freshly baked potato bun & butter. It took the food a while to come out of the kitchen. In the meantime we chatted with the waitresses & munched on the rolls. Both entree's arrived together piping hot. From the looks of it now we know why it took so long. It appeared like every thing was prepared from scratch, the clams, scallops, shrimp...all cooked (broiled) in butter - ummm good. The fish was perfectly cooked. Those buns came in handy to soak up the butter. Portion are substantial, we both took half of our entrees home & the price can't be beat. Needless to say we will be visiting again. If you're reading this you should pay a visit also.

Gordo's did an amazing job catering the Envirostar Innovation bbq. The food was insanely good and the staff was wonderful. Plus they brought everything and made it so easy for the hosts. Thank you so much Gordo's! I would HIGHLY recommend. HIGHLY!!!!

Such a nice little spot right by the train station. Walking distance (if you missed your train like us!) Great, friendly service and really delicious bar food!! Sit at the bar! Buddy is wonderful!

Gordo's is a great burger spot for people who enjoy eating big meals. The Gordo burger was delicious, as was the French onion soup, and carrot cake. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was cute.
