Wine and experience were top notch, but not pretentious. Staff were lovely. Gorgeous views. Beautiful late-October visit on the deck with overhead heaters and beautiful surroundings. A new favourite, for sure.
Not nice service. Too small. Don’t try to walk in.
An unfortunate interaction when we entered the tasting room with a person (Heather) who has no customer service prowess. We were greeted with a statement from her that “we were not able to be served a tasting because of short staffing”, and the only available service option was per glass. We never had a chance to even try a wine to see if we liked it… We ordered per glass, sat down, and then saw the next several customers arrive who were offered a tasting option as soon as they sat down. We also had not received any explanation of the wines. This is unacceptable, rude, and we did not appreciate Heather following us out of the front door after we left.
Beautiful winery. I love how the tasting can be curated to your preference you can choose 2.5 oz carafe pours and share with your party. Juan was our server and he was very knowledgeable. We had a small hiccup with our bill but that was quickly resolved with the employees. Would definitely come back!!
We've gone to almost every single winery around Seneca lake and this is one of our favorites! The tasting room is pretty and laid back. The staff is so accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Plus the wine is incredible. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking at what wineries to go to. You pay by the wine tasting and can get as many or little as you want.
We had a fantastic time! The wines here are great! And all with a wonderful view!
Gabby was so polite and informative! Beautiful tasting room and amazing wine!
Standing Stone is one of the most wonderful wineries I have been to, the staff is incredible from being greeted by Gabby to the attention and knowledge of all staff, I drove six hours from canada to come to your establishment
And it’s my third time doing so, and will not be my last. I wish i lived in town so I could get your farm red. So thank you to everyone for a wonderful experience
if you have to pay to have your product appear at the top of a search list ----- you are not worth the time to visit. Good Luck
This rating is for service and not the wine. I travel to the area once every year for at least 10 years. This is the only winery we consistently have issues with.
The winery closes at 5pm. You can not get a tasting at 430pm.
Walked into the tasting room. It was empty other than 1 table inside and 2 outside. We were told unless you have a reservation, the 2 staff can't handle more people right now. This was on a Wednesday. I could understand this on a weekend when it is busy but not a quiet weekday.

I have no idea how the wines taste. I was so turned off by the employees that greeted us at the door on Saturday 9/7/2024. We did come into the winery with a group of 9 for a tasting and the group was too big for a tasting. We were told that they would not serve us even if we had no problem with splitting up our group. We walked out and 1 person in our group really wanted to try the wines. 4 of us decided to go in and do a tasting. When we re-entered the winery, the woman greeter with a rude attitude said they would not serve us because she recognized us. We tried to explain that the other 5 went back to the vehicles and she said we could not do a tasting. I would never treat customers in such a manner. I hope management can give lessons on customer service.
Not a great stop!! Got turned away even after we split our group of 9, as they wouldn't accommodate all of us. 5 went back to our vehicles. So sad; really was looking forward to checking out this winery ??
Loved this place. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Foccacia bread was amazing! Wines were great. Good blend of drys and sweets.
Good wine and a beautiful view
One of our favorite wineries on the Fingerlakes. The whites are nice and dry with a very crisp taste. My wife and I buy cases of this wine to have in the house, the Saperavi Rose is a true favorite. I would strongly recommend stopping here on a tour, the wine is a la carte so you get to pick which ones to try. The view is amazing, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the decor inside is modern.
