Dear Au Bon Pain, I was thrilled to hear that the industry is moving away from cruel practices like cages and that Au Bon Pain decided to commit across the world to sourcing cage-free eggs. But it’s disappointing that Au Bon Pain is not reporting about this. This could lead to a lack of transparency and consumers deserve better. I encourage you to publish the progress you’ve made so far to transition to cage-free eggs! Thank you for the attention
It's Alright - expensive with mediocre

The Newport Turkey sandwich (speciality sandwich) is just a bread, turkey slices, avocado, and cheese, layered. Only god knows what’s so special about that.

Friendly staff and very clean environment but prices don't match the quality of the food. $7 for a bagel with cream cheese and bacon and didn't enjoy it enough to finish. However, baked goods are really well done. I've had their brownie and double chocolate cookie. I enjoyed both.
Beyond awful. Waited 20 minutes just for my food to be given to someone else. Go somewhere else on campus!
The restaurant would not accept the free coupons for my birthday and my anniversary. I emailed the corporate office and explained the situation with no response. I know it wasn't the fault of the restaurant. But corporate didn't respond to me.
I love this place. Clean and professional with delicious food and manageable prices
The staff are very helpful and they all have patience, when I shop I sometimes have to hop back and forth to make the perfect combinations and I love it when the cashier tells me to take my time and not in a sarcastic way. They throw little pointers and tips if they see you need a bit of help or forgot something. You pay for what you want, high quality food. It's very clean, every few minutes I looked up I could see someone dusting the floor, fixing tables and chairs, or throwing away garbage. It's very spacious and you have more than enough room to move around. Music on the speakers are Hofstra based, with a large amount of the tracks belonging to their band. There are many different types of seating to make you comfortable from booths to stools to tables.Their soups are to kill for, I enjoy the creamy and thickness. They aren't cheap with their ingredients, such as a clam chowder will have enough pieces of clam, chicken noodle soup will have enough chicken. They make soup into what it's meant to be, delicious, creamy and heart filled. You also get to serve yourself, so just take what you enjoy the most. The brownies here are so sweet and soft to each bite. I brought a sandwich from this place to my class one time and everyone was just drawn to it's wonderful aroma. Top notch, I hope this place keeps it up because I love it.
Easy to see right off of California Avenue servicing Uniondale and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Parking on the Street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted.
5 stars for food and service.

Great coffee, small space, no WiFi, limited seating, seemingly unlimited coffee selections. Had the cortado and a pour-over. Both were flavorful, rich and very satisfying. Location was a bit hard to find but well worth the search! Highly recommend for the coffee.
The coffee is always barely warm. It gets old and stale in those canisters too. Otherwise, the food is good.
Good food, a bit expensive
The AU BON PAIN in Brooklyn Metrotech Plaza puts this one to shame.
I worked with Marianne on a proposal for my Mom's 60th surprise birthday party. She was simply wonderful to work with! She was patient and honest and really understood the event and the overall flavor we were trying to achieve. I will work with them again!
