*5/5 Star place I had an amazing experience dining at Be-Bob Bagel Shop in the heart of Hempstead, located on Main Street and Front Street. This hidden gem offers a wide variety of bagels with different toppings, a salad bar, and an impressive selection of sandwiches.
What sets Be-Bob apart is the personal touch from the owner, who is often behind the counter, inventing new and wonderful food options. The shop has plenty of seating, with a lovely view from both sides, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal.
I'm particularly impressed by the Central American food options available, adding a unique twist to the traditional bagel shop experience. If you're looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere, Be-Bob Bagel Shop is a must-try!
Stopped by yesterday to get their breakfast sandwich to go, I've been there in the past, even had BeBop to cater an event I was hosting. The old owners sold to new people. So I proceeded anyway. Later on I started eating I noticed that the sandwich was bad. Immediately I started vomiting and THANK GOD I had an appointment with my doctor later on. I am now on antibiotics. Will not be returning ?

This place is no longer be bop bagel it's now main Street deli. I love the new owners. The one lady that does the cooking is a doll and the guy that is the owner is great and hard working. Nice customer service. If I had 2 bad things to say. It's that they are slow. Really need more cooks, especially when it's lunchtime. Most people get just a hour for lunch and don't want to spend 40 minutes on their food. The second thing is one time I got a burger and it was way over cooked and I think it was because they got overwhelmed and left it on the grill too long, wish I would've checked it before I left because I would've returned it. But I won't doom them for that. It was only one time. Salads are fresh. I see they have a meat business in the back now, hope they do well. Glad the other owner's ( when it was Bebop) is gone. That guy had a terrible attitude and his food quality sucked.

Be-Bop Bagel nestled street side comfort food. Conveniently located for all business. Excellent spot for all your pallets options. However this morning experience was slightly different. Seems ? like the place receiving much need upgrades and decor., new paint job., lighting., even the backboard and backsplash are earthly and more natural. Even the bathroom accessible., upgrades and labeling. Still more work is necessary clearly displayed as 2 huge 18 wheeler Trucks fully loaded 40/45ft. Convoid outside. Along with Cargo of food deliveries.
