The foods great! I had the Steak & Yellow rice & peas . (Huge juicy steak portion! ) My husband had the white rice w pink beans and rotisserie chicken. The taste of both foods was amazing! Tried their passion fruit juice .. GOOD TOO. Don’t know why there are some bad reviews. I looked at most of the bad reviews and they were made a few years ago. Maybe they had a different cook back then!
I order frequently from Genesis as the staff is always friendly, the food is great all the time & whether it’s pickup or delivery everything is always packaged nicely & very tasty. I’ve ordered the rib-eye with potato salad & coleslaw or the whole red snapper fish with rice & peas & salad. The pupusa & empanada are also great. I’ve eaten the tres leche cake & the homemade juices!
Since moving to Hempstead in October 2017 our family has managed to stop in at Churrasqueria Genesis on Peninsula Blvd at least once a week and sometimes twice a week.Why, you might ask.Because this family restaurant has a wonderful variety of chicken,fish,steak and ribs all seasoned like Mom used to make.Tasty and we'll cooked without being over-seasoned.The prices are phenomenal,there is parking,which is super convenient,the staff is exceptional and the facilities are always...
