The bakery has a good location. I like the banana pudding's taste best. The staff is all enthusiastic. Thank you for your good service.

First of all, when did these cupcakes become $3.95?! They are not that big and to be honest, I think the icing isn't that great anymore. The first vanilla/vanilla cupcake I tried had icing that was more buttery than sugary, which in my opinion, defeats the purpose of a Magnolia Bakery cupcake. The second vanilla/vanilla cupcake I had tasted a lot better and closer to the icing I remember. Y'all have been making overpriced cupcakes since Sex and the City was on air; what is up with this inconsistency? Well, I can no longer justify spending $3.95 on a potentially not-the-same tasting cupcake. In the near future, I see myself going on Amazon, buying the Magnolia Bakery recipe book, and making these babies myself because I am not made of money and in my kitchen, cupcakes will be thicker than 1 inch.

They only get two stars because of the banana pudding and relatively quick service (depending on what day you come, but weekday evening rush hour wasn't too bad). I'm sorry but the cakes are AWFUL!! As someone who often travels to CT, I'm here often and I've consistently been disappointed in the cakes and cupcakes. They are just dry, stale, flavorless, with an overly sweet frosting. The slice of "caramel" cake I got today was the last straw. It actually CRUNCHED it was so stale! There was zero caramel taste to be found (I've had caramel cakes while living in Chicago and that wasn't it). Zero moistness, zero flavor other than sweet. I've had this issue with their cupcakes, chocolate cake (the kid I gave it to dislike it so much that they preferred supermarket sheet cake instead), and even their hummingbird cake, something that should NEVER be anything but moist and delicious (though congrats on creating a cake made from some of the wettest fruits around-pineapple and banana-dry as day old ciabatta). Stick to the banana pudding because the cakes are NOT worth the calories.

A sweet bite on a windy day. I've visited the Rockefeller location and this is a nice little miniature food court booth that's perfect if you're craving that banana pudding, like I was. This location is much less busy that the Rockefeller location with the same quality sweets.

Loved it!! Had the Vanilla Cheesecake, my husband ordered some snickers thing, & of course the banana pudding. It was the perfect breakfast after flying all night long! A bit hard to find in GC but well worth the look.

I'll give two stars, because the banana pudding is pretty good; but the cupcakes? Please... what is the hype about?!! The cake part is good enough... nothing special...but the icing it SOOOO sweet-- that's it. just sweet, no flavor. Tried the red velvet hoping for less sweet, cream cheese frosting. It was less sweet alright. Remember Crisco? add a little air and there you have it. i've tried these cupcakes once a year for for almost 6 years. If you like sugar sweet with no flavor, this is your cupcake!

How perfect is this location? Grand Central Station, right by shake shack :D My bf and I came by around 2pm, not a long line. They sell pastries, but we came for the banana pudding. I've never had banana pudding, and didn't really know what to expect. I was going to buy the medium, but changed my mind and got a large. GLAD I DID. That banana pudding is delicious! Chunks of bread and banana, very creamy. I loved it! Will definitely stop by again when we go back to NY

OMG, Magnolia Bakery! Soooooo glad I went with large @ $7.50. Nice, light, creamy, not too sweet, and very delicious. You have to go to the lower level in Grand Central to get to this place. Hopefully they will have the double chocolate brownie testers set out when you go! I had to control myself and leave with just the pudding!

Been dying to try the banana pudding and it did not disappoint !! ( a little on the buttery-flavor side. And heavy but still good!) pretty good oatmeal cookies too. Staff at this location is very friendly and sweet.

Finally, finally, finally tried the Banana Pudding I've heard so much about. It definitely lives up to the hype! I shared the medium size Banana Pudding with two friends, and it was the perfect afternoon snack. It's creamy and fluffy with chucks of banana and villa wafers. Definitely a rich dessert, but delicious nonetheless! This location is in the downstairs area of Grand Central Station and includes tons of other food options. There's also tons of seating and tables as well - perfect to enjoy your Banana Pudding while people-watching!

Bread rubbish...I spent my money thinking it tasted good and nothing to do with it. I almost broke a tooth biting into a piece of that bread. I do not recommend it to anyone ?
