I have been to Irie's eat a couple of times in the past. I have had their oxtail, curry chicken, and curry goat several times. I have to say my curry goat was salty, but it didn't diminish how juicy the meal was. The cabbage plus the rice and the curry goat paried made each bite less salty. The food was still very flavorful, well season and the goat was succulent. Their plantain was tasty, although i think the biggest scam is them charging me almost 6 dollars for 6 plantains. My best friend believes as a carribbean, she doesn't feel right eating jamaican food without plantains.

Irie eats did not disappoint!! Coming from the Caribbean I didn't expect to find good food up in stl but I was wrong about this place. So far I've had the j*** chicken plate, chicken curry plate, oxtail plate and the goat curry plate. Their rice is top tier and delicious! Everything is a 10/10

Irie Eats didn't disappoint in our first visit and we will certainly be making return trips. We look forward to dining once things open back up from COVID, hopefully in the near future! The j*** chicken wings were cooked to perfection and were so flavorful. The oxtail was delicious, although don't go into it expecting there to be a lot of meat on the bone. The beans & rice along with the cabbage were great as well! The hostess taking our order at the window was very pleasant. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I drove too far and spent too much money for this food to not have a lick of seasoning. This can not be real. The curry was water shouldnt it be thick?

I really like their covid setup. You have to wear a mask, they wear masks when interacting with you, and I don't think you can dine in. well done. The goat curry was delicious. The plantains were great. The oxtail was ok but still solid. I also ordered as they were closing for a snow day... So maybe that's why the oxtail wasn't everything I hoped for. We'll definitely be back.

First time eating here...Absolutely delicious food, excellent service. We love Jamaican food and this was some of the very best we've had. Thank you so much! Dan and Rusti, UCity

It was very yummy!! I would definitely eat here again. It tasted fresh and I was so sad when I got to the last bite. Prices weren't bad either

Super helpful as I was ordering for a larger group of people. They gave me a time to order so I would get my food made fresh. I was a bit late getting to my order because of traffic. They took the time to replace some of my food to provide me with some fresh product. The plantains should not be missed! They are delicious and perfectly made. The Jamaican patties are wonderful. We ordered both beef and chicken and loved the chicken most. We also got j*** chicken wings that were really tasty as well. Definitely worth checking out!

I was like everyone looking for places to get food during covid. I saw the delivery fee and I understand supporting businesses but I opted to pick up. I left a tip Had the chicken wings, Oxtails wish there was coco bread but I think this place has good options and good food

Aunthenic? No , Americanized? Very much. This didn't have the authentic taste and the only thing that was somewhat good to me was the cabbage which was way to buttery to be Jamaican, the oxtail? Tasted more like they added nutmeg or something but I can gaurentee that's definitely not authentic Jamaican taste ,Was so tough and I only got three pieces? For 14$? The rice and beans were bland Yeah no I really shoulda went out my way and made it at home but here I go wanting to try local places. Also got the festival was more doughy than anything and way to much cinnamon

This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I must confess I was impressed. I got the j*** chicken, Curry Goat, Jamaican patties and all were good. I wish I would've gotten more j*** sauce and soaked the chicken in it but that's just preference. The flavors were also good as well as the spice level. I wish the price was a little better, but definitely was not over the top. I would at this restaurant again for sure.
