Kennedy Chicken grill kabab & Gyro

I had high hopes for this place, but it was a big letdown. The fried chicken wasn't crispy – more like soggy and greasy, as if it had been sitting around for hours. The seasoning was bland, and the chicken itself was barely warm, which was disappointing given that it’s supposed to be their specialty.

The sides didn’t fare much better. The mashed potatoes tasted instant, the coleslaw was watery, and the fries were cold and limp. It seemed like they were trying to save money on ingredients at every turn. Service was slow and indifferent, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than actually helping customers.

On top of everything, the place felt unclean – sticky tables, crumbs on the floor, and a general lack of care. For the price, I expected way better quality and service. I won’t be coming back here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good fried chicken.

I felt very disappointed by the quality of the food. My family ordered fried chicken pieces, cheesesteak, gyro, chicken sandwich and cheese burger, with sides of fries. The chicken fried was the salty small wings you find at other local chicken places. They were very fried and the outside was super crispy and hard. I couldn’t eat much because of how salty the chicken was. I was excited to try the cheesesteak but oh man, minimal meat, tasted no cheese, had some bits of onions and green peppers and saw some mayo on the side.

I had Saads Philly cheese steak from Philadelphia, so I am very very disappointed as there is no comparison. Saads hand down was the best, hence they are so famous.

Back to my current review. Fries were like any other, and the gyro was normal. Nothing special. The customer service person was kind and respectful. Overall, this was a quit bite for the family and sadly we did not enjoy it much at all.

So I should have stop buying kennedys chicken when the man that works the morning shift dam near cursed me out and was getting annoyed, talking down to me in a condicending town, given mail shovanist tease.

I'm a customer in the end and if I am a woman and spending my money I'm not seeing why I can't ask for what I want. This cashier seems to allow all the Spanish people and men dictate what they want but me being 54 Jamaicans black and a woman wasn't.

The last straw was on Friday last I witness something that almost flored me. I'm a germaphobe and about exactly a week ago I caught the ring worm and couldnt figure out how. I now do, smh.

So I always buy the same thing the 3 piece chicken thigh, leg and wing. I also ask for ketchup. This cashier seem to always skimp on the ketchup he gives me but gave this customer so much, that she walked up to the counter after eating with her hands and handed the cashier around 6 packet of ketchup, that he unbelievable took from her and put it back into the ketchup in the store that he was giving to customers.

Now I'm not sure if this man is not aware of the way we had to change how we did things because of the covid. Also hempstead has allot of crack heads, homeless people and people who are visibly sick that is allowed in Kennedys chicken.

Ring worm is caught on contact and I couldn't figure out how I caught it when I didn't come into contact with any one. I wasn't even thinking about kennedys chicken. Until I saw what he did.

I quietly told him that I didn't want any ketchup and that he shouldn't have taken back the ketchup that was used by the customer because she touched it. Not sure if she washed her hands.

Instead of him being quiet this man started cursing at me using derogatory words and accusing me of being a problem eveyrtime I come into the store and banning Me from coming back. All while handling my food.

This man Seem to not understand the food and drug administration rules or laws. Needless to say. I had to go to the urgent care because I had ringworm for a week and didnt know what it was. I thought my contact dermatitis was acting up until it wasn't going away.

I was prescribed a cream and oral diflogan fungal medicine all because I spent 4.99 in this restaurant.

Although the chicken does taste good it's not worth being verbally abused by this employee ober and over again and spending all types of money out of pocket because a restaurant is not practicing proper food handling hygiene.

The fried fish and rice be tasting hella good especially with a good Dr Pepper

Full of red dyes. Not at all what I will call shawarma. They put so much sauce, the bread was soggy, it was impossible to hold. All of it went to the trash unfortunately!

Thanks so much for your chicken.Its delicious.You'll note the small things here simple brown chairs white tables but plenty to choose from on the menu.Its a taste of halal meets kfc.Home is where the heart is and its delightful to eat here at extremely late hours.Food.Companionship from the local hood.There are chickens in the closet.Aint nothing like chicken here eat it up and enjoy the finer tastings in life.And be happy.Be tasteful and eat loudly.I wasnt high enough to pass out but the track playing told me it should be.
