Pollos Mario Steak House & Seafood

I used to visit this restaurant often many years ago. The portions are still generous. The staff is still very pleasant. However, the food is now a hit or miss. We started with the Tostones and Guacamole appetizer. I would go back to the restaurant again for that . The Guacamole was fresh with chunks of avocado just as I like it. Then the entrees were disappointing. The steak with onions that were sautéed and browned on the picture, were mushy and seemed boiled in person. The chicharron was not seasoned and didn't taste fresh. Had a bit of funny taste to it. Their fries are still great and crispy . Overall, I would chalk it up as a bad day and give it another try, based off of other past meals there.

Food quality was horrible. My wife and I enjoy Colombian food due to my wife being Colombian. For 100$ plus tip for two people horrible! Why? The calamari was off with the smell of funky fishy taste… bandeja paisa beans smelled and tasted of rancidness questionable meat taste. My wife had arroz con pollo which was lacking in flavor and visually unappealing. Over all service was attentive and respectful. In short The food was a super let down I know that this franchise and some locations are delicious but it seems the chef must have been way off today will not be coming back to this location. I suggest a restaurant of a higher caliber punto Rojo Has amazing Food wide assortment Bakery and it’s overall more flavorful and authentic Colombian. I was really hoping for more! I left feeling I let down my wife and son for a night out.

The food was okay. Everything i ordered was loaded with a bunch of fries. The food was alright, la Choza del Gordo is better. i will say they have good service

We simply love Pollos Mario. The food is amazing, the service is fast, prices are comfortable. Good spot to take your family or have a good time with friends.

Now I was with my family, in that place and it was horrible, the waitress never placed the order and we waited and waited and when we complained to the supposed manager, after 5 minutes they brought the meat in a lake of blood, it was super raw, At that moment we paid for the juices that we had already finished and we left... I don't think I will return...??

I invited my friend to eat yesterday and I went to Pollos Mario at 830 pm and they closed at 10 and they didn't want to serve me, the cosinero yelled at me and said yes for takeout if the owner agrees?

Very bad, this is the second time I go and without exaggeration I wait an hour for food. I think they should hire more staff last night when I was there, we complained to everyone and no one took charge. Oh, we only have one cook. I think they should train to the staff In addition to the fact that we arrived and we were standing there and there were empty tables and no one would seat them anywhere until I told them that they were going to seat them or I would go somewhere else because apparently no one would stop them, that restaurant is stupid, the food is good but the service is very bad starting because you wait too long for your food to be served

The waiters don't let you eat in peace, they come to the table every time to take away plates, you feel like they don't want you there anymore and that they want you to leave and you can't eat in peace, they should improve on that.

Friendly environment, food incredibly delicious and done well. It gets busy in evenings especially weekends, valet parking is a plus. Ive been going there for over 10 plus years i just love it actually, im going there for fathers day. (I went last weekend too?).
