This is my go to spot when I’m craving fried chicken and ribs.
The chicken n rib combo never disappoints when it’s freshly made. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the ribs are saucy and tender, and the cornbread is one of my favorite parts of the meal (soft, slightly sweet, and freshly made).
Whether you order inside or through the drive-thru, the customer service has always been friendly and welcoming. They move pretty quickly too, which I appreciate.
If you’re in the Hempstead area and in the mood for good comfort food this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Just visited Wings’n’Things and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the family combo and the 1/2 rack of ribs. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and very meaty and juicy on the inside. The pork ribs were falling right off the bone and melting in your mouth. The portion of French fries was very generous, too. Everything tasted fresh and truly mouthwatering. We’ll definitely be back!

Best fried wings on Long Island in my opinion. Nothing has changed over the last 20 years. The food is still consistently delicious.

great for any occassion and will be open on most holidays. you can place orders for pick up in advance or get large amounts of chicken the same day. you can get 100 pieces in the drive thru if you wanted to. That's how accommodating wings n' things has always been. They are a staple in the Hempstead Community for over 35 years and the staff is always pleasant. I enjoy the spicy fried chicken, the boneless wings (really tenders) and the fried okra. My husband and my children love the ribs and cornbread. Try them today if you have not done so. You will not be disappointed and if you're like me and enjoy well done, you're in for a treat!

They're a little pricey in my opinion but their wings remain consistent. Their sides are ok but lack flavor. The workers however are very respectful.

Wings are delicious. Food is always great.
My new favorite fried chicken spot!!! Best friend chicken….
Man, the food wasn't good. Everything changed since the last time we came here. They don't change their grease, and you can taste that in your food. The okra was too brown and overcooked. It tasted like old grease. The chicken was ok, but not great either because of the grease. The cornbread had uncooked grains of cornmeal, it was like chewing on sand. It fell apart into crumbs, so maybe they were low on eggs. The chicken gizzards were ok, but again, the grease is too old. What happened to the greens? Why is there no flavor like the last time we were there? C'mon now, teach these kids how to cook.
