Granted, I showed up on Christmas Eve with my mother in tow, so I’m fully aware this wasn’t exactly peak bar‑vibes hour. It’s definitely a local dive, and while they did have some chicken wings sitting on a heating coil like they were waiting for a bus, the kitchen itself was closed. The lighting was unusually bright for a dive bar—bright enough that the atmosphere had nowhere to hide. My mother even did a slow, confused spin trying to locate the exit, which honestly became the evening’s main entertainment.

Stopped in because I wanted a few wings before getting groceries. Was happy to find a local place with kind people, and I enjoyed the food.
It's an older building, and the owner explained alot to me about the area and history. Also learned a bit about blue cheese. Had my wings extra crispy buffalo and then also tried the Korean BBQ- loved both. Wings weren't frozen, and they used quality sauce on them.

This is our regular hang out and the food is always very good 👍..staff is nice abd feel like family 😁 If your looking for a cheap friendly bar with good food you need to check this place !

Found this place through the reviews on Google Maps. Glad I did! If it's your first time visiting, look for the light blue house. We passed by it the first time. There's plenty of parking available.
When we visited, it feels like a local hangout. Most of the customers are regulars. We did feel slightly out of place when we first arrived, but we got comfortable quicky. It's laid-back spot with tons of drinks and more importantly for me - amazing buffalo wings!!! The bartender P recommended Hayburner IPA for us and we loved it!
If you are in the area, visiting RIT or what not....definitely you should stop by this bar/restaurant for a COLD ONE and some WINGS!!

Back to My Place in Henrietta is a hidden gem! This speakeasy dive bar boasts an abundant drink menu and a charming vibe. While they don't serve food, their steak and cheesesteak nights sound amazing. The staff is pleasant, and the fact they stay open until 2 AM is a big plus. Can't wait to return for more good times! Highly recommend!
