We had Mecate cater our son’s graduation party. Omar, Fernanda, and the Mecate staff gave us an EXCELLENT experience! The process was easy, , the pricing was very reasonable, the set up was great, the service was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the portions were huge! We received so many compliments about Mecate’s food (we did the taco bar, and added quesadillas and churros). Everyone wanted to know where we got the food and where the restaurants are located. Great experience!...
Food was delicious. It came hot and quickly.
Margaritas were strong and flavorful. Portions were large. I rarely have leftovers but did today. I tend to be a cheapskate but I found the Prices to be reasonable. Definitely worth another visit.

The food here is excellent, but we've been twice and the service was pretty bad both times. The first time, it was just kind of slow, and there was a very large party seated nearby us so we figured it was just a fluke. We decided to give them a second chance a few weeks later, though, and I am not lying to you, almost two hours passed between us being seated and us having our order taken.
