The food is good but could be better. I got this order to go and live about 5 mins from Fat Cats. My husband and I got the fisherman's platter to split, a kids fish dinner, and a kids fish dinner. The fisherman's platter was really greasy. The batter on the fish was greasy and soggy. The scallops were not even whole. They cut them in half and batter them to fry. They were gross and soggy. I would rather have smaller scallops and have them whole rather then getting scallops that are cut in half feeling like I have been cheated. The shrimp where small and mostly tail. Very little meat. I have had better fish fries from Price Chopper and Wegmans.

A local dive that offers the most amazing seafood, ever. I ordered the Fried Scallops, which were very lightly breaded, and cooked to perfection. Tender and moist, and OH the flavor. Best I've had in many decades. My wife had the Fish and Chips, which were also cooked perfectly. Price was extremely reasonable, staff and servers were super friendly It was obvious from the steady, heavy, traffic both in the dining room, as well as the take out counter, that this is a local treasure.

We’ve been going to Fat Cats for 10 years. It was superior then, presently the food quality is the worse it’s ever been. Flimsy pieces of fish, dry, bland and tasteless, French fries bland, onion rings were a total waste and the coleslaw was the best part of the meal and that’s not saying much. It was sweet, won’t return until we hear of a change. Will not recommend.
