This is not authentic jamaican food period. The people that are cooking the food are not jamaicans. The food is trash rasta pasta was mush like baby food. The fried chicken was nasty better of going to kfc even the arabs at the corner stores have better fried chicken. The oxtail was not good no flavor at all just dissapointing also that is not jerk chicken. This is not it and a bad representation of the jamaican food and culture.

A hidden treasure in the Herkimer area. Went to JamCasian and got the jerk chicken and the curry chicken. ( THE JERK CHICKEN SAUCE *chefs kiss*) Both meals were packed to the brim and had absolutely outstanding flavor profiles. The rice and beans were to die for and the veg was a perfect touch. Eat here and you can really taste the love and passion they put in their food !

Stopped in on a whim for some flavor and a little spice! Was not disappointed! Curry chic, rice and peas and braised cabbage…so yummy! Sizeable portion. Great chat with two lovely ladies as well!

Since I moved to herkimer I haven’t found a food food spot let alone any Jamaican food one thing that shocked me is they had Rasta pasta with jerk chicken ready and if you know Jamaican restaurants you know that’s a rare thing but here NOPE they had it and it’s amazing the owners was so sweet , funny and helpful they made me feel like I was in New York City visiting friends and family with great food the atmosphere is clean and nice definitely would go back and actually sit down to enjoy it there I don’t do reviews often but they definitely deserve it you lady’s are amazing you and THANK YOUUU

We started with the jerk chicken, which was perfectly seasoned, tender, and had just the right amount of heat.
