This weekend: After a long day of mining with our child and finally settling in at camp, we decided to treat ourselves to apps and a drink at The Miner’s Table across from the KOA as suggested by their camp website. It was not busy at all. There were two other tables and one person at the bar. Our waitress seemed very rushed and a little irritated.
We ordered fried ravioli and French fries, which were great. I ordered a “Herkitini” which according to KOA website was filtered over Herkimer diamonds and served with one. Well it did not come with a Herkimer diamond and I did not see it filtered over them. Disappointed with that.
An older couple came in and was seated next to us when the gentleman said to his companion that it would “be nicer if we weren’t seated next to a small child.” Which made me feel a certain way as our child is autistic and we hardly ever dine out because of it, even though he is well behaved.
Between the rude guy next to us and our pushy waitress, we felt very rushed. To cap it off, when she brought the check, she took the plate out from in front of me while I was still eating. Unbelievable. Won’t return.

This place has wonderful food and a great decor. Woodfire pizza plus an amazing menu with the same chefs as portifino in Utica. Top notch!

We chose the KOA because it has this restaurant. On site - contrary to all other sources - it is closed (probably for a longer period of time)! There is a snack stand on offer, but it is totally overpriced, the price/performance ratio is not right!
Apparently you can rent bikes - but that's not true either.
The pool water is milky, cloudy, barely in there> tufts of hair swim past me - yuck!
The park-like campground is otherwise great, lots of space for children.

Their nachos are amazing!
Food was good but service was short handed
Best buffet for a large group (150) I've had in many years. The place is a little out of the way but well worth the trip. The service people operate with precision so guests aren't tripping over each other.. There's a restaurant for individual dining also, and judging from the banquet food, I'm going back with my wife soon.
