Went here for lunch with friends while visiting Central NY. It's casual with a pleasant atmosphere along the canal. The service was good - friendly and helpful. The food was mixed - a steak salad was very good (a bit pricey but beef is everywhere). A Ruben sandwich was not so good - minimal meat and toppings. The waitress intervened and made an effort to fix the problem. Chicken sandwich was good, but small. The french fries were excellent. Overall a nice stop with friends but not a place to frequent.

Very busy on a Thursday night. There was a political function so it was probably the reason service was very slow. Coconut shrimp and Caesar salad were excellent.

First and foremost, all the positive reviews are lies. They either know the owners or don’t have working tastebuds.. All of the food was just not good, either premade junk or just no flavor. And usually when you have a kid they try to get their food out as quickly as they can but no such effort was made here, we all waited close to an hour. And it was not that busy. The salads had literally one slice of cucumber and one wedge of tomato, I don’t expect side salads to be loaded up but really? When we finally got our main food, we were all joking that they must have used the tomato and onion for my burger instead of the salads… but the laughing stopping when we got the bill and saw an extra $9 added on for lettuce, tomato and onion, mind you this was a FROZEN PREMADE BURGER PATTY that already cost $14 (it did come with small side of fries). We asked the waitress about it and she said a lot of people get upset, that some of the staff think it’s ridiculous to charge that, and that the back adds on the extra charges for those items, not her. She took it off our bill, but then proceeded to tell us that other staff don’t charge for it sometimes but if she tries to do that she gets in trouble? And then also tried to say those charges are listed on the menu, which they were not!! She grabbed the menu and started looking for it herself and couldn’t find it, so then the story was that they just got new menus printed the day before. I don’t care if they did just get new menus, or even if the charges were listed on the menu, when taking our orders and specifically asking me if I wanted those items, it should have been stated they are going to try and charge you that much for toppings that normally come on a burger. Seriously tried to charge $23 for that. Don’t waste your time or money here!

Had the prime rib it was so full of fat and chewy the baked potato that they charge you 4.00 extra for was good, you can't go by the menu on website it's very old and they do not update the site. The server was very nice. Paying 35.00 for a prime rib that does not include a potato? Not worth the money. If you want a good prime rib I would look elsewhere. I was not impressed with this place
Came here for lunch and everyone was friendly. Came back for dinner. Sat at the bar and I have never been so insulated. We came for dinner because of the daytime bartender. But the older lady at the bar I would guess she an owner . One us us ordered a drink and we were deciding if we were gonna wait over an hour to order . And her reply was do you have reservations. No we dont . We are at the bar. We'll you have to wait . Then she says its 6.00 for the drink. Its not the price its the way she said it . Well we were looking forward to a nice dinner. But she doesn't know how to talk to people. I wont be back for dinner. It wasn't packed . It was a waste to drive 30 miles for nothing.

Love all the personal touches inside the restaurant. The waitress, Dakota!! Was very knowledgeable of the menu and the back story of the place. She was very friendly. Got to talk to the owner Rocky!! I really wish we lived closer. Very authentic dishes
