First time at Ahuva’s Grill Express last night and I’m honestly still thinking about it. I met Yosef, told him I wasn’t sure what to order, and he goes, “Bro trust me, I’m gonna make you the best sandwich you ever had.” He was not kidding.
He made me a beef shawarma wrap with pickled onions, and it was unreal. The beef was insanely soft and juicy and packed with flavor—easily one of the most delicious wraps I’ve ever had in my life.
If you go, do yourself a favor and get Yosef’s special beef shawarma with onions on a whole wheat wrap. I live in New Jersey and usually dread driving out to Long Island, but after this, I’m actually looking forward to my next trip back.
