I honestly don’t know how this place is still running. The guy who owns or works here has no idea what he’s doing rude, arrogant, and completely clueless about customer service. He acts like he’s doing you a favor by taking your order. If this is what “Famous Pita” stands for, then it’s just bullying customers with an attitude.
The hygiene? Don’t even get me started. The place looks and smells like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in ages. I wouldn’t be surprised if the health department shows up soon.
If you run a business that serves people, you should know how to talk to people. Someone please sign this guy up for a basic manners or behavior class I hear some schools offer them for free.
Save your time, your money, and your appetite. There are way better spots nearby that treat people with respect and know what cleanliness means.

I’ve never experienced such disgraceful and disrespectful service in my life. As a fairly regular customer, I was shocked when the person at the counter aggressively and loudly refused — in front of other customers — my polite request for a small side of pickles. Something that’s considered completely standard in any shawarma place around the world.
I was genuinely embarrassed by the way he yelled and behaved. I just took my food and left.

OMG that's what I have to say ! Second time visiting and was dreaming on coming back to this amazing shawarma pita ever had in NY maybe even better than Israel. Amazing amazing quality and tastes that are 100% accurate to the traditional dish that we all grew on in Israel. Fresh clean friendly and again very very yummy. I Highly recommend a visit

I hadn't been here in months. They added lamb shawarma to their menu, and it was delicious!
All their grilled food and salad plates are tops. Thursday nights tend to be busiest. Great place especially for lunch when it's not too crowded.

My wife’s food was cold. Didn’t need to be. My sandwich was ok. The soup was great. I did not like the way they cut the laffa. Made it more challenging to eat. The sweet potato was cold. Didn’t need to be. Shawarma was very good. Needs someone to constantly clean. Found it messy in front and back.
I come in and ( I have big curly hair) this guy that works there who is an older man with grey balding hair with a keepa on was treating me with disrespect and keeping his eye on me to make sure I didn’t steal anything . Made me feel so uncomfortable. He is 100% racist and should BE FIRED!
