This was a birthday celebration for our family. Our table was situated in a very comfortable area for our group. Lighting was a bit dim for older persons. The staff was kind & patient with latecomers who were stuck in traffic due stormy weather. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our time there so much we did not realize how quicklythe time flew by. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to exprience great Asian Fusion food.
I made reservations online and arrived for dinner. Initially, we were seated near the bar, but we requested a quieter spot, and the hostess kindly accommodated us by moving us to a table by the window.
When the waiter came, we placed our drink, appetizer, and entrée orders. My daughter and I originally wanted the bento box, but we were informed it was only available during lunch hours, so we had to browse the menu again and choose different items.
We ended up ordering the Pad Thai, salmon teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, and sushi. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared.
The drinks were also great—though my Long Island Iced Tea was a bit stronger than I had requested, it wasn’t a big issue.
For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and the chocolate soufflé. The tiramisu was not overly sweet, which I appreciated, and the chocolate soufflé was a big hit with my kids—it disappeared in under a minute!
Although there was a bit of a wait for the food, it was definitely worth it. The waiter checked in with us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed.
This is a great place, linen tablecloths, real silverware and napkins, chopsticks, good food and great drinks
We’ve been to Moca Bistro in Hewlett many times—mainly for the convenient location—but the service has always been just okay at best. Our most recent visit on a Sunday was particularly disappointing. There was no bartender on duty, yet people were gathered at the bar waiting a long time for service. When someone finally acknowledged us, they seemed annoyed and rushed, like they didn’t want to be bothered.
We waited nearly 30 minutes just to ask for the check, only to be handed the wrong one. It wasn’t until then that anyone actually made an effort to help. The only consistently great service we’ve experienced here is from the bartender who works Thursdays and Fridays—everyone else is just going through the motions.
Moca really needs to step up its customer service.
The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance , the service was friendly and the food was delicious!
Nice ambience, good service, mostly very good food. Way too expensive.
I have dined at Moca before in Forest Hills and have never had an issue. I placed an order today through Uber eats with Moca in Hewlett and paid a bill of $229.47. I was completely shocked when I received my order. The quantity and quality of the food was absolutely ridiculous. One of the items I ordered was a lobster salad and I will attach a picture as an example of what I received, I was charged $41 for this item alone. I contacted the restaurant about the situation and the so called manager said we should deal with Uber eats not them. Not the answer I expected considering the restaurant makes the food not Uber eats. I would not recommend spending your money at this restaurant if you expect a quality meal.
Place looks good from the outside but service and quality of the food was awful. Would not recommend.
Good food enhanced by excellent service. Our server, Janette, is a wonderful asset for a restaurant.
Beautiful venue w/ menu to match.

This is the restaurant I visit most often. It always provides warm service and fresh and delicious food. It is the most recommended restaurant in this community.
Unfortunately I found the food overpriced and not very flavorful (lunch Bento with beef teriyaki, plus extra $ for "special" rice). Additionally, the lava cake had no "lava," and it was a somewhat dry chocolate cake. Showed the waitress and though she was very nice, all she said was that she would tell the chef -- no offer of a replacement. I will not return.
Very beautiful and quiet space for dinner, lunch or brunch. The food was amazing and the services received were quick and the servers were very warm and professional. Love this place.
The food will keep you coming back... very delicious
