A cozy restaurant and bar on a hill. We just had a delicious, comforting dinner at The Spy. We started off w a fab pretzel and spoon cornbread with mushrooms followed by duck for my husband and meatloaf with carrots and mashed potatoes for me; accompanied by a lovely glass of Pinot noir .We finished w tapioca pudding and fresh whipped cream. We had Fried Calamari appetizer, Fish & Chips main course and dessert last night. All were delicious! To top it off, we could hear one another throughout the evening as the ambient noise was quiet, the ambiance friendly and warm.

The Spy is one of my absolute favorite restaurants to eat at in the Hudson Valley. They use the freshest ingredients and the quality of the food is consistently delicious time after time. My husband and I used to eat here very often when we lived closer and now that we moved and live almost 40 minutes away, we still make the drive! From the fresh pasta to the tofu wings (like no other!) to our favorite—the turkey kale burger, everything is just SO good. Not to mention that everyone...
