Great cider served by a great staff! Live music on the patio outside while I was there. There was a food truck at the entrance, but the is no food prepared by the establishment therefore no star rating. There were families with young children enjoying the live music. My favorite part aside from the really dry ciders is the vintage pinball room. 5 balls for a quarter! I'll definitely be back soon!

We booked the loft at the Bad Seed Cider Taproom for a baby shower/party for last Saturday. It was fantastic!!!! When we got there the loft was all set up for us. We had food delivered by Rossi's in Poughkeepsie which was delicious and it is also one of the caterers that Bad Seed recommends. We had the loft from 1-6 pm and were able to come in early to set up.
We had 75 people, consisting of older and younger folks, babies, and children. Everyone had an amazing time!
The staff at Bad Seed made everyone feel very welcome and were very professional and very friendly. The atmosphere at Bad Seed is so GREAT! Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the inside and outside. Room for kids to play. The pinball room was a major hit with the kids!
Our guests and family members came from several states and some from very far away. They all talked about how great Bad Seed Cider Taproom is and how fun and relaxed it was. They are still talking about it!

Tried another fabulous new flavor from Bad Seed - Hoppricot! A very nice hoppy apricot. As usual, Bad Seed got the balance just right. A nice subtle apricot flavor but still a crisp dry cider. I have never had a bad cider from Bad Seed.

If you're looking to get married in the Hudson Valley, you need to have it at Bad Seed. The staff are truly incredible, always going above and beyond during your wedding planning process all the way through the wedding. Throughout the planning period, the bad seed team were always available whenever we had questions or needed to figure out logistics. During our wedding day they we're constantly checking in on us to make sure that we we're having a great night and our guests raved about the kindness and care they showed to them throughout the night. Plus, the cider is truly the best you can find! Speaking on the venue space itself, you cannot find a more picturesque location! Set perfectly on their own orchard, you're surrounded by beautiful foliage as far as the eye can see! And the venue itself has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces that will charm all of your guests! We truly cannot think of a better place to have held our special day, and we're eternally grateful to Devin & the rest of the Bad Seed crew for making our day absolutely perfect! :)

We had a great time on a beautiful day. Nice size place. Not too big, not too small. Easy to get a picnic table. Lively place, with live entertainment and great flights of cider.
The cider was very dry. It was nice to have live entertainment, but could do without the lyrics about about abortion and drugs.

Bad Seed puts Angry Orchard to shame! I first tried a sample of their cider at a beer store and was so pleasantly surprised that we decided to stop there on the same day as an Angry Orchard trip. Split a large flight with my husband and all were fantastic ciders, and on the dry side thankfully. Nothing cloying and even the fruity ones were really well balanced. The taproom has a chill, open, welcoming-but-cozy atmosphere, complete with an arcade and live music outside. Their small food menu was appealing and smelled great, and wish we’d ordered some. Will absolutely be back.
The ginger cider is really good. Worth the trip.
