Just went here for an early birthday dinner, we were a party of six. The owner/chef was friendly and our waitress was nice and on top of things. We ordered all kinds of stuff, all of it was tasty, the stuffed artichokes were excellent . So I just read some reviews, of course, I always read the negative ones first......o.k. it could use a facelift, but then again that might ruin it's charm. One review said they changed 6% for credit cards, it's really only 3%, a common practice these days, and I wasn't charged extra for blue cheese on my salad either. I felt bad for the guy as we were the only people there the whole time, but that worked in our favor , I don't really like mob scene places like, say Cosimo's . The prices were as expected, I know a lot of eateries that went under during the plandemic and these last 3 and a half years of governmental tyranny......that aside, they make their own tomato sauce and we had a nice evening.

First, and last, time dining there. Food was good, got the Chicken Parm with Fettuccine Alfredo. The problem, and why I'll never go back, is because the Captain and Cokes were $18 each. That is ridiculous and needs to come with a warning.

I have passed this restaurant at least 1,000 in my49 years in the Hudson Valley. No longer able to drive at night, gave it a try through door dash. What a pleasant surprise! The Chicken Franchaise was so tender and tasty, Hubby got the Stuffed Chicken and the Linguine with White Clam Sauce. He enjoyed both. The best clam sauce he has had in years. We will definitely be ordering again.

Yesterday, December 6th, a group of thirty of us enjoyed a holiday luncheon at Coppola's in Highland, NY. Nick made it a perfect afternoon for us along with his wait staff, Enzo and Lauren. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Thank you, Nick .

Went lunch time and they offered no menu, which shocked me. They guy offered a few choices and ended up chicken parmigiana sub. When food came out one piece of chicken sub roll and nothing else. Sandwich was subpar. Bill came and sandwich’s were $25 each. That is highway robbery if you ask me. Never will i return to eat here again.

Love the food and the old world atmosphere. order the steamed clams and they truly are the best around. Nick is old school and the home made tomato sauce is the best. We have ordered the chicken franchise and the chicken you can cut with a fork. Highly recommend the shrimp scampi as well. in the world where a lot of restaurants are using premade food from companies and charging outrageous prices, Nick prepares his own and works tirelessly to be authentic. The staff is always eager to accommodat. recommend Coppola's highly. would like to see the atmosphere a little less dark but hey, you can't eat the atmosphere!

I bought a coupon for this restaurant, and Covid19 happened. They wouldn't let food to go with coupon. So I waited until a month ago to use the coupon, they aren't taking it anymore so no big deal only $15.00 lost. The food was not very good, but the service was good. Never again, you can get better food in a pizzeria and spend half the money. Dinner for 2 was $140.00, for not that much. Go to Olive Garden better food for less and better atmosphere. The place is not clean. I'm glad I didn't see the kitchen.

I went to have lunch at the restaurant following the good reviews. The chicken staff was here but they had no waiters. I asked them if they were open. They kitchen staff said yes and left us waiting. I saw them then calling on the phone. We waited to be seated but people kept piling up behind us until we decided to call it quits and the other people followed. What a chaos. First and last time I’m going to this place. Don’t waste people’s time.

This was my first experience at Coppolas and I don’t know if it was just an off day but the sauce on my eggplant parm and spaghetti was so salty it was inedible. The eggplant itself was just ok at best. There were 3 thin layers of melted cheese on the top. On top of not tasting great, the presentation was poor. My kids got baked ziti and the sauce was so spicy neither of them ate it. The Marsala rollatini my dad got was good and the baked deviled clams were good as well. They were generous with their pours. I’m not sure what to think. An Italian restaurant should have a red sauce that they can be proud of and trust in my opinion.

We had eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana. Both were awful. I will never get food from this restaurant ever again. Even the complimentary garlic bread was burnt. For the money I spent it should have been a fantastic meal instead it went in the garbage.

Our very good friend has chided us for a long time to visit Coppola's. Although the ambiance could use some work, the food was excellent. I had chicken scampi which was scrumptious. They give you a very generous pour on the wine orders and Enzo our server was the best!!!! Our friend ordered Tiramasu (sp?) to take home and she indicated it was the best she's ever had. My husband ordered oysters for appetizer and not only were they very reasonably priced, he said they were excellent.
