I ordered a strip steak sandwich with mushrooms and peppers and 3 cheese burgers 2 with lettuce and tomatoes on it they said it was just cheese..Now that’s the least of my the Strip steak sandwich that I had ordered was supposed to be made medium well with mushrooms and peppers which I was charged extra for..Well the steak was old it has a funky taste to it and came with one big piece of sliced bell pepper and like 2 pieces of mushrooms..i also ordered the stuffed clams And I am the least surprised that there is no clams at all at all..my stomach Feel so nauseous..Won’t be ordering from there again

Stayed in the area on 8/19 and needed somewhere to eat dinner. Saw this add for Sal's Place in Highland as a Dive Bar but went anyway. Happy I did, No Problem going to Dive Bars as it is only another name for Locals to Hang out. Glad I went, food and service were AOK! Was busy but Dania did a Great Job! Jamaican Jerk Wings were plump and delicious, best I had in a long time! Other meal was Chicken Tacos that was filled and great tasting. Drinks were made perfect and prices were very good. I will in the area again in a few weeks and will definitely be in again. Keep up the Good Cooking!!

Sals catered our event with memorable gravitas. They showed up day of the event and executed flawlessly. They were seamless despite a passing severe thunderstorm. The staff was amazing and very professional. From the initial planning through their clean up and departure this business does it right. Serving sizes aren’t a good size. You will need to eat after you leave there. It’s really just a bar that you can’t expect big portions from. You go to a place like this to have a drink, not eat.

This ain’t enough food for one person or two called the shrimp and clams basket. Just call Jon Taffer he will know and help. I just ordered this tonight I think sals place needs bar rescue asap and not enough space for people to moved around or sit and the place needs help just call Jon taffer he’s a bar rescue guy
