Old-style tavern/restaurant in the center of the hamlet of Hillsdale. Our young server was very polite and the food (a gourmet mushroom pizza) was delicious. Our one big concern was that our pizza appeared to be left out for several minutes (we could see where it was being made) instead of being served promptly. Another staff member apologized unprompted and told us that they were in training, which is understandable.
The wings may have been the best garlic parm wings I have every had!! They were crispy while soaking up the sauce making the wings so flavorful. The chicken was cooked to perfection. My prime rib was so good and ending my meal with the cheesecake drizzled with caramel, requested not a given, was perfect! Highly recommend!!!
Was tempted to try this place by all their delicious pictures they post on Facebook. Took my family there for a Friday night dinner and had an excellent meal. Got the king cut prime rib and it was fantastic. Wife's got a turkey dinner special. It was excellent. My little one got kids pizza and a Mac cheese. So good. Also had their muscles and french onion soup. Both stellar. Service was very pleasant. Bar service was a little slow but no issues. Would definitely recommend...
